Lots of new goodies this week! Scuba Oversized Full Zip in Meadowsweet Pink is so perfect for Barbie week. Did anyone see the movie? I really want to see it along with Oppenheimer. Softstreme HR Straight Leg Cropped Pant in Purple Ash is right up my alley and it's the perfect purple shade. It's on my list, but I am not sure if I should get it. I am still hoping for Dark Oxide, but I am running out of hope. There's also new arrivals from Athleta and Allbirds! Let me know if you ordered anything this week. 😃

Nothing for me today! I love Meadowsweet Pink but am waiting for HR HH 2.5" and a Swiftly LS. I'm onto their game of releasing different inseams/rises in shorts at different times to play off fomo. It's either that or supply chain delays, but I'm betting it's clever marketing.

Hi LZ! I just got my HH HR 2.5" in Atomic Purple and love it. Meadowsweet Pink would be cute too. I think they release them at different times because of FOMO. Absolutely. But I don't play that way anymore. I have enough that if it's not exactly what I want, I just don't buy.
DeleteArgh, Canada didn't get the Purple Ash Softstreme Crops. Maybe they will do a sneaky upload of them later this week. I'm interested in the Love Tee in that color, and the Bone Ready To Rulu Pullover, although it's a bit too early to be thinking of fall clothes yet!
ReplyDeleteI too like the pastel colors in the Allbirds, but I agree they're pretty clunky. As for the Tree Flyer 2, I don't mind them, but I think I like the simplicity in the design of the original better.
Meanwhile, I ordered a pair of the new Luxtreme 7/8 pants and I dig them. I measured the inseam, and you were right; they are 27 inches. They are a perfect full-length on me, at 5ft1. I got an xs, and while they fit, the pockets do flare a bit when I walk, but I don't think it bothers me enough to size up.
Hi Lola! Yeah, I guess I will pass on the Allbirds even though I love the colors. I think I should try the new Tree Flyer 2 just to see if the fit is better than the original. The original one is just a tad too long on me.

Purple Ash is such a pretty color and hope it will be released in a nice jacket. Might give the Softstreme Crops a try too if it’s available on the Canadian site!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Lola and prefer the original version of the Tree Flyer. It’s indeed the simplicity of its designs that drew me to Allbirds. My all time favorite is the Wool Runner Mizzles.

Hi Andrea! I'm really tempted to get the Softstreme Crops. I agree, I do miss the minimalistic look of Allbirds design. The new Tree Flyer is a little bit too busy. I still may try them anyway.
