4th of July Sales! Naked Cashmere, Athleta, Vuori, Banana Republic

Lots of sales happening right now. I'm eyeing some linen and cashmere items. I know it's hard to think about cashmere when it's 95 degrees out, but trust me, come September - you'll be wishing you had snagged some of these pieces for up to 60% off back in July. 😆 It's also sweltering in Atlanta and I am definitely ordering a couple of linen pieces. I'm sharing my favorite pieces from each sale in this post.

Here are my picks from the Warehouse Moving Sale!

EXTRA 25% OFF sale items with code MOVINGSALE

($177 after coupon code, I'm tempted to pick up another color)

($243.75 after coupon code)

($207 after coupon code. I'm really tempted to get this.)

($168.75 after coupon code.)

($341.25 after coupon code. I am obsessed with this cardigan, this is such a good deal!)

Vuori is having their end of season sale. My favorite joggers are on sale from $60! I'm definitely picking up another pair. Can't have too many of these. I just wear them all year round.

Athleta's Semi-Annual Sale is still going on and worth checking out! Here are my favorite picks from the sale.

I stopped by Banana Republic today and got to see some of their linen pieces in person and was impressed. Extra 25% off With BR Card with Code BRCARDPERK. I will be placing an order! Here are my picks.

  1. I'm eying the Naked Cashmere Carmel sweater. I love the buttons on the shoulder! I can't decide on size since I want it to be oversized, like it fits on the model. I'd normally order a small, but I'm thinking based on the model size info, I should size up to a medium to get that same fit. I'll have to think about it since you can't exchange/return.

I'm also thinking about getting another pair of Halo shorts. I'm considering either desert rose or lychee. The lychee one looks like it could be way more orange than pink though, so I'll probably go for desert rose.

    1. Hi Stacy! The Carmel sweater is really nice too. Very cute. I love Halo shorts. I have two pairs and wear them for lounging or for quick errands out. I don't wear them for working out though. Have you tried that?

    2. I haven't used them for working out, only for walks and light hiking. I think they would be too hot and the sweat would show? I'll report back if I try it for anything sweaty.

  2. Happy July 4th!! I bought a lot of Tatcha lately (since the FF sale) and have been loving their Violet C serum and Dewy Skin Cream. So many sales! I will look at some things but I don't need anything more at all. I got way more than I originally anticipated at Aritzia cause of the sales but I've been happy with everything so far.

    1. Hi Janessa! Happy 4th!! I took a look at the Aritzia sale but didn't see anything I really wanted. Definitely going to pick up the Naked Cashmere cardi though. I've been eyeing that for months.

We tried HelloFresh for the past two months - Here's our review

Hi everyone! This post is written by my husband. Some of you may know he does all the cooking around here. 😅 We noticed we were spending a lot of money on food and eating out every month and wanted to see if a meal kit service would save us money and time. After looking at a few meal kit services we settled on HelloFresh. Without further ado, here's Jared's review. (Original post date Aug 2022). ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ As you may have seen from Leslie's Instagram stories for the past 2 months, we've been using HelloFresh for most of our meals. The main drivers for this were to better track what we eat and because on the advice of my doctor, I should be eating more home cooked meals. Before I go any further, it should be noted that my original career path was in culinary arts, but twists and turns in life changed that. So I do have formal cooking experience. A little background story. Over the years, I've developed
