Review! Fendi Peekaboo ISEEU East West Bag

Happy Friday! My Lululemon order just arrived today, which means I'll have a new fit review coming next week. It's been awhile since I did a proper Lululemon fit review. Has anyone tried the Classic Fit Cotton Blend Tank Top? It's on sale and I'm wondering if it fits true to size.

One of my goals this year is to grow my YouTube Channel. As of right now I have 24 videos and 94 subscribers. Thank you to everyone who has ever liked and subscribed! It means a lot to me. It took me a little while to figure out what direction I want to go with and the answer finally came to me about a month ago. My Youtube Channel will primarily focus on handbags. That said, I'll probably post a new video around once a month (I am hoping every two weeks, but that's probably pushing it a little). It won't always feature a handbag, but the majority of them will.

Today, I have a review of Fendi's Peekaboo ISEEU bag in the East-West style.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall.

I purchased this bag from Rebag for a price I couldn't pass up. Ever since this bag was released in 2021, I've had my eye on every resale site waiting for it to pop up for a good price. It's hard to find exactly how much this bag cost, but my guess is around $4000 retail. I was able to snag it for half off, in excellent condition.

What I really love about this bag is the smooth calfskin leather and the ombre effect. I think it makes it look so beautiful with the burnished edges. It gives the bag depth. The gold hardware really makes it look elegant and classic.

The bag does come with an adjustable crossbody strap. I have it on the shortest setting and it's perfect for my petite frame. I think wearing it crossbody gives it a more casual look. If I wanted to look more elevated and chic, I would carry it by the handle.

Please check out my video to see what fits in the Fendi Peekaboo. The size measures 11.5"L x  7"H x 4.5" W. I would say the size is in-between small and a medium sized bag. It can fit all of your essentials plus a little bit more.

The leather is so soft and supple and feels really luxurious to the touch. The handle is sturdy and comfortable to hold.

The inside is lined with leather and the bag is divided by a stiff partition in the middle. This helps keep my items organized, but it does limit you to carrying sleek/thin items. Bulky items like a water bottle would not fit.

Both sides of the bag have a turn lock closure. This is probably my least favorite part of the bag. I find the turn locks to be a little bit finicky, so I just leave the bag open for easy access.

The Peekaboo originally debuted in 2009. It became an instant "It-Bag" and after nearly 15 years, it's considered a classic. The style is void of any logo except for Fendi engraved on the hardware. It's one of those "quiet luxury" bags that don't scream look at me! The trapezoid shape is very easily identifiable as the Peekaboo and it does remind me of a subtle version of the Hermes Birkin.

Bottom line- the retail price is scary. Buying it pre-owned from a reputable resale site is the way to go. Here are a few that are available for under 50% off. I don't have the funds or otherwise I would totally buy them all up!!

Best Deal!

That's it for me! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

  1. What a beautiful bag! I could never use a bag that high-end; I'm too much of a klutz and would probably get it dirty in seconds, lol!

I have a couple of the Classic Fit Cotton Blend Tanks (and I just ordered the Twilight Rose). I like my tts 4. I tried a size up recently, and the arm holes gaped kind of weirdly on me.

    1. Hi Lola! My #1 weakness are pretty bags. It is something I have tried to shake and I always end up going back!

Thanks so much for responding on the fit of the tank. I am going to order the size 4. I was worried about the arm holes gaping as well if I sized up.

    1. Thanks so much Karen! It's one of my favorites to carry. I can't get over how nice the leather is.

  4. Love this review! Would love more bag reviews in the future, or even to see your whole collection (or a post on your favorite bag purchases, least favorites, etc)! I always love your honest opinions. Also would be interested in any shoe reviews (non sneakers) as it can be hard to find brands that fit petite feet! Thanks!!

    1. Hi Jen C! Thank you so much! My collection is really out of control. Half of it is Balenciaga bags that I love to collect. The rest is a mix of Fendi, Coach, and a few random ones here and there. But I can totally do my favorites and show my whole collection.

I know how hard it is to find shoes too. I will see what I can do to branch out in non-sneakers. Thanks for the suggestions!

    2. I vote for the bag collection - display for the whole collection, at least; and a review of the favorites, perhaps?
      I love balenciagas too!

I’m size 6 in LL tops with a wider waist (older age…) - and a size 6 in classic tops, long sleeve, looks very good on me.
Tanks, though- not so much- armholes are way too big on me.
      TYSM for the great reviews!!

    3. Hi! I might have to do a two part review for my bag collection. It's way too many. I don't have a good display to show them off though, so I need to work on that too. You'll love the Balenciaga bags, I have a ton. But all the same style mainly, I only collect the motorcycle line.

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
