Fit Review Friday! Vuori Miles Ankle Pant and Halo Straight Leg Pant

Happy Friday! This is going to be a quick review, I'm not feeling totally great and may be coming down with something. 😓

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear size XS in Vuori bottoms. I also wear size 4 in Lululemon and PXS in Athleta bottoms.

I was excited to try the Miles Ankle Pant because of how similar they looked to Lululemon's discontinued On The Fly Crop. I'm wearing size XS and the fit is amazing. The waistband sits right underneath my belly button which I love. It's slim/straight leg all the way to the ankles. The length measures 26 inches and perfect with some loafers or flats. I can't tell you how happy I am with the length of these pants. They are super petite friendly.

These are so flattering, the waistband is stretchy and true to size. Size XS will fit a 2 and 4. If you're in-between sizes I would suggest sizing up. The fabric is technical knit that looks like woven (according to the website) but the feel is slick and almost like a windbreaker-like. It's a medium weight pant and probably too heavy for a hot summer day. I ended up returning these because of the fabric, it wasn't what I was looking for, but the look and fit is spot on.

The color Ash is a medium to dark gray with a hint of green. It is a lovely color that reminds me of darker version of Lululemon's Gray Sage.

Next we have the Halo Straight Leg pant in Smoked Plum Heather. These pants are available in three colors and the purple caught my eye over the Black heather and Pale Gray heather. If you normally wear a size XS in Vuori's Performance Jogger, these feel and fit the same. I'm wearing my usual size XS.

The length measures 26 inches long. These look great with my Allbirds Tree Flyers and the fabric is super soft and comfortable. I'm actually wearing them right now.

The waistband is very stretchy and comfortable.

I hope Vuori releases these in more colors. They are a great alternative to the Performance Joggers with the same comfy fit and feel.

That's it for me! If I missed anything in either review or you have any questions, let me know in the comments. Hope you all have a great weekend!

Thanks for another great review! Both pants look amazing on you and the Miles Ankle Pant fits like a glove! It actually looks perfect on you from all angles! It’s definitely a keeper to me and too bad you decided to return it. :(

I’m still hoping that the LLL On the Fly Pant will make a comeback!

    2. Thanks Andrea! Miles Ankle Pant was almost a keeper for me. The fabric just wasn't to my liking. I'm feeling a little better, but can't wait to be home.

  4. The Miles pants is perfect. The color, fit, length.... Much better than those Lulu pants from a couple of weeks back.

  5. I just returned my Miles Ankle Pant, too. There was something about the cut that seemed matronly me unless I rolled them for a more casual look. However, after returning the Miles because I wanted a more “polished” style, I want to order some Halo straight legs. Make perfect sense - ha ha ha!

    1. Hi! I didn't mind the cut, but I could totally see rolling them up would be a cute look. I love the Halo Straight Leg, highly recommend those! Super comfy =) I def need more colors.

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...
