Review! Nobull Blue Opal Iridescent Ripstop Runner

How is everyone doing? I can't believe we're at the end of February. This month flew! I'm really looking forward to the fit reviews I have planned for March. I've got a fit request for the Throwback Flashback Pullover, an Athleta haul, and my own Lululemon picks. I'm pretty excited!

For today's review we have the Nobull Blue Opal Iridescent Ripstop Runner. I fell in love with these when I saw them debut on their Instagram page. I mean how awesome are they??

For reference my street size is 5.5. I also wear size 5.5 in most Allbirds. For Nobull, I find they tend to run large. I sized down half a size.

(Currently Sold Out)

I have never seen a shoe with this kind of iridescent-rainbow reflection. It's so beautiful. In the unboxing video I posted I show how the shoe looks in all it's rainbow glory. They really do glow in the dark. It did not disappoint! Definitely check out the video, it's a short two minute clip. In natural lighting the shoe has an ombre effect from dark blue to purple.

The colors are absolutely mesmerizing. These run large and I sized down half a size. I find Nobull generally runs large. That said, they are just ever so slightly too perfect in the width. I only wear them for casual walking and have not used them for running or training because they feel just a touch narrow so I don't want to do anything serious in these. For exercising I would want a little more room in the toe box. These are comfortable enough for walking, but I hesitate to do anything extra in these. That's just my personal experience with this style.

I love the grippy soles.

These are made of lightweight perforated ripstop polyester material that's breathable. The laces are flat. The lug sole provides plenty of traction. These feel like a neutral shoe with moderate cushioning. They're not bouncy like my Allbirds.

I've been wearing these for a few months now and I do love them for everyday/casual walking. They have held up well and I really enjoy wearing them. Would I buy them again? I would if they released these in another crazy color. I can't imagine that they can top the iridescent colors, but you never know what they can come up with these days! That's all I have today and hope you have a fantastic week!

  1. Omg the iridescent color is sooooooooo pretty and cool! I would love to know how it glows in the dark lol! You’ll have to take pictures, Leslie!

I just received my Allbirds Tree Dasher Relay in Calm Teal and the color is even prettier than expected! They are expensive but well worth it!

    1. Hi Andrea! It is the coolest shoe I have. I did show how it looks all lit up in my Youtube video. There's a good clip of it there.

    3. I guess the indoor lighting hits the shoe a certain way, makes it glow and turns on the iridescent colors. It's so cool to see!

    1. Hi Blueberries! LOL, I think it's because I had to size down, and while it fits perfectly in length, it's a smidge too narrow. I never thought I had wide feet, but maybe I have slightly wide feet? Probably just me, I'm sure people do run in these though!

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
