Fit Review! Vuori Halo Performance Hoodie 2.0 vs Aviator Nation 5 Stripe Hoodie

How is 2023 treating everyone so far? I'm doing great on my no buy but at the same time it's only 8 days in. 😆 Although, I admit the 60% off Naked Cashmere sale is very tempting. I'm considering a couple of shackets. And in case anyone is wondering I do have a bunch of reviews lined up from purchases made in December so I should be good for at least a month, if not more. I am anxiously waiting to see what Lunar New Year items we'll get from Tuesday's drop. Today's review is a comparison between Vuori's updated Halo Performance Hoodie versus Aviator Nation's 5 Stripe Hoodie.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear size XS in Vuori and Aviator Nation. I also wear size 4 in Lululemon and size PXS in Athleta.

Vuori Halo Performance Hoodie 2.0 Cosmo Heather Size XS

I was interested to see how the updated version of the Performance hoodie compared to the original. I liked the original Performance Hoodie but at times I wish the sleeves were a little looser to fit over my Apple Watch more comfortably. I purchased size XS in the updated version and also wore the same size in the original version. If you would like to see the original fit review, here's the link.

The sleeves are indeed looser, and it did fit over my Apple Watch easily. That's a plus in my book. The length of the hoodie is a smidge longer but not by much. The overall fit of the hoodie is looser than the original. The fabric is thin, like the joggers, but I found the draping to be unflattering from the front. It's a little shapeless and boxy.

The fabric is still the same buttery softness that I love. The color Cosmo Heather is amazing. I have it in the Performance Jogger and they're currently on sale for $75.

Aviator Nation 5 Stripe Hoodie Vintage White Size XS

I love my Aviator Nation hoodies. I saw someone wearing a full matching set in the Vintage White at the airport and loved it on her. I decided to get the hoodie, but it turns out that this color for whatever reason, runs a tad larger than their usual XS. It wasn't terrible on, but I wanted it to be a little more fitted. The fabric is super soft and extremely comfortable on. I just didn't love the looser fit.

I ended up sending both hoodies back, which is a rare thing for me! However, between the two hoodies, Aviator Nation is still hands down my favorite hoodie so far. Hope you all have a fantastic Monday!

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. Review! Balenciaga Rodeo Bag Size Small Plus Video

You all know I love my bags, and as a Balenciaga collector, I don't often stray from the City and First style. The Rodeo (pronounced like Rodeo Drive) really caught my eye. It gives off a slouchy Hermes Kelly vibe, but way more practical to use. For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall. Balenciaga Rodeo Bag Small The Rodeo can be carried a few ways. It comes with a crossbody strap that is not adjustable but it is removable. Not sure why anyone wouldn't add a few extra holes to make a strap adjustable these days. Come on Balenciaga! Do better! The top handle is a bit too long for this to work anyhow, I feel like the top handle gets in the way. It sticks out and doesn't sit well in my opinion. I wouldn't carry this bag crossbody unless it was an unforeseen emergency and I really needed my hands free. This bag looks more chic carried by the handle or crook of the arm.
