Fit Review Friday! Boden Cashmere Ribbed Cardigan & Naked Cashmere Hollis Jogger

Happy Friday! It's all about cashmere today. I found two really nice pieces from Boden and Naked Cashmere. This is my first purchase from Boden and my first pair of joggers from Naked Cashmere.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall typically wear size 4 in Lululemon tops and bottoms. I will include sizing info in the review below.

I wasn't sure if I would prefer size 2 or 4 in Boden as this was my first purchase from them. So I ordered both to try. For this cardigan in Rope, I am wearing size 4. It's a relaxed fit and has a comfortable casual look. The sleeve length is just a tad too long. The length hits at high hip. I love the ribbing detail along the cuffs and edges of the cardigan. This is a medium to heavy weight sweater, it feels substantial and it is a very fine knit cashmere. The Rope color is a pale ivory with a hint of pink. It's a very lovely shade and I'm very happy the color doesn't wash me out.

I also ordered the Gray in size 2 and it's slightly more fitted but I didn't find a big difference between the two sizes. They were both comfortable and I think it comes down to personal preference on how you want it to look. I couldn't decide which I liked more, so I ended up keeping both! I managed to snag them for a pretty steep discount, so why not? The quality is amazing and I didn't find the cashmere to be itchy at all. I'm definitely a fan of Boden and will be looking at their website more often.

When I saw these joggers for $100 in size small, I snatched them up. The inseam is 27 inches, which I knew would be slightly too long (my preferred inseam is 25.5 or 26 inches) but decided to try them since Naked Cashmere offers free shipping and returns. The size small is equivalent to a Lululemon size 4. An extra small would have been too tight in the waist for me. These are high rise and it covers my belly button but still comfortable. The length is too long as expected but I wore them with the cuffs folded underneath and that worked for me. In the photos below, they are at the full length.

Love that they have front pockets.

The back looks flattering with the faux pockets which I love. It makes the back of the joggers look visually appealing than most sweatpants these days. These joggers are light to medium weight cashmere with a 9 gauge knit. The leg fits loose and tapers slightly at the ankles.

Naked Cashmere's Winter Sale is still going on and there's still some really good deals. I kinda wish I tried the Lavina Cardigan before my no-buy started. The Oat color is really pretty. Before I sign off, there's a 20% off Athleta sale on EVERYTHING until the 23rd. I'm on my no-buy but in case you're free to shop, this is a good time to try some of their new arrivals. That's it for me, for those celebrating this weekend, Happy Lunar New Year! I will be skipping Monday's post, see you back on Tuesday with new releases.

    1. Hi Karen! The joggers are not itchy at all, very soft and comfy. I only wore them twice and so far haven't noticed them stretching out. They are fairly loose fitting in the legs though.

Happy Lunar New Year to you too Karen! Wishing you an amazing year. =D

  4. Those cashmere pieces are beautiful! Maybe someday. I haven't been interested in any LLL stuff lately bc of the high prices. Makes me think more than twice about buying. I stopped keeping up to date with their product drops. I just go on here to see

    1. Hi Janessa! Yeah, I can totally see that. I was actually thinking of writing a post about Lulu and their uncreative drops and rising prices lately. I've been browsing other brands more often.

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
