Fit Review! Naked Cashmere Amber Ribbed Cardigan

I'm back from New York. Do you guys want to see a few photos from my trip? It was freezing when I got there and I am LOVING my Keys Velvet Luxe Puffer (currently on sale). It's been keeping me warm and I'm also getting a lot of use out of my Naked Cashmere Snood that I purchased from last year. Speaking of Naked Cashmere, they have an archive sale happening and the Karen Scarf is only $69. I have one from a couple of years ago and it's one of the softest scarves I ever touched. Sometimes I'll use it as a throw blanket it's that big. It was originally $345 so this sale price is such a steal.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear size XS in Naked Cashmere. I also wear size 4 in Lululemon tops.

Naked Cashmere Amber Ribbed Cardigan Natural 01 Size XS

This cardigan has been removed from the site, which is unfortunate because I would have ordered it in Lake which is this pretty pale blue. I'm wearing size XS and it's still a bit oversized on my petite frame, but I think it still works. The cashmere is super soft and lightweight but still keeps me warm at the office.

The one thing I did notice that's very different from my other cardigans are the pockets. The opening is from the side instead of on top. Definitely do not put your phone in there!

I ordered two colors to try. They're both very similar, and this particular cashmere is not dyed, which is why their names are Natural 01 and Natural 02. I ended up keeping the lighter shade. The darker shade 02 is still very nice, but reminds me of a grandpa cardigan. They're really both great and can't go wrong with either one.

Naked Cashmere is definitely pricey, but worth the money. I'll be wearing this cardigan at the office for the next few months, that's for sure. It'll become an office staple for me.

This cardigan is lightweight and has a lovely drape in the effortlessly chic look. The archive sale is worth checking out. There are some really great pieces for great prices. That's it for me today, I'm still recovering from my trip, I'm just so exhausted!

  1. Welcome back, Leslie! Yes please write a post about your New York trip with a picture of you and your sweet grandma! :) I know there will a lot of pictures about food LOL!

Thanks for the review and while I love the luxurious feel of cashmere sweaters, I am too lazy to take care of anything that needs to be dry cleaned. I have a few cashmere sweaters and scarves which have been sitting in my closet for years. @_@' That being said, Amber Ribbed Cardigan looks like a classic and versatile cardigan and I'm sure it's a good investment if you can make a lot of use out of it.

    1. Hi Andrea! I will post pics from my New York trip. You'll like my photo with my grandma. She's so funny. I miss her the most and of course the food pics!!

I agree, cashmere is a little high maintenance. But I find it is worth the extra step. It's just so warm and luxurious!

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
