New Releases Week of October 4th 2022

There was a drop last night but I was too busy with dinner and work. Better late than never I guess! Lots of Smoked Spruce and Tidewater Teal. I'm really happy to see that Tidewater Teal keeps popping up. The Hooded Radiant Jacket is back! I love the cut but the sleeves are just too long for me. The Scuba Full Zip in Green Jasper is really pretty. The biggest drop from last night has got to be the new Strongfeel Women's Training Shoe but I'm just not feeling the design. I already tried a couple of pairs of the Blissfeel Running shoes and haven't been impressed. Unless someone requests that I do a review, I'm going to pass on these as well. Let me know if you got anything from the drop!

New shoes were dropped last night! I'm not a fan of their shoes from the two I've tried, so I won't be ordering a pair. I might have gone for a pair of the training shoes, but they aren't appealing to me.

  1. Hi Leslie. I was curious about the strong feel shoes as they’re not running but training shoes. I wanted to try them for pickleball. Do you think they’ll make a good indoor court shoe? Can I request a fit review? Do you know their 30 day trial policy? Will they give you a refund if not satisfied? And what do they do with all the returned used shoes?

    1. Hi there, I am not sure if they would be good for pickleball, I've never played that game before. I can do a fit review but I'm reluctant to try them for 30 days since I am not sure what happens with the used shoes after they're returned.

    2. It says on their website the returned lightly used shoes will be sold in their Like New section. They now have a buy back program

    3. Oh yes, I see that now. I would need to know what they consider "lightly used shoes" though. I just placed an order, but I'll wait and see when they get here before I decide if I'll actually test them out or not. I'll at the very least do a fit review.

  2. I went to one of my local shops in NY and bought 2 pairs of strong feel sneakers to try. I’m an avid lifter fyi which includes Olympic lifting. I did a 90 minute session with my strength and conditioning coach this afternoon in my new sneakers. They are super comfortable and truly awesome for lifting. Their soles are stiff and very stable. The bottom of shoes are designed so they provide very good traction on wood platform. I highly recommend. I’m sz 7 and bought 7. In my experience these run true to size.

  3. I forgot to mention that I’ve tried Lululemon run sneakers and they actually hurt my feet. I’m a distance runner also and the Lululemon sneakers were actually very uncomfortable for a 5 mile run . So I was weary of trying there lifting sneakers. I’m so glad I did because they are really comfortable.

    1. Hi there, Wow! Thanks for your review! What color did you get? I was leaning towards rose/raspberry. I'm not a fan of their runners but I'm happy to hear the Strongfeel shoes are worth a try.

    2. I got black and the dirty looking cream color which I got because they look “vintage” to me to be honest I really like every aspect of these shoes. I saw them online and went to the store. When I saw them online I thought maybe the design was a bit boring. They look much better in person

  4. hi Leslie! Nothing from this week's drop for me, but I received my Venice Jogger in Rustic Beige and I love the colour! Thanks for the recommendation!

    1. Hi Karen! Awesome! I'm glad you love it! I think pairing it with a Natural Ivory top would look amazing.

  5. I was interested in the strongfeel shoes as I lift but don't run (not since orange theory!). However, I'm not sure if I'll like the design - the front of the shoes look rather blunt. I like it more tapered... Nothing for me this week! Was tempted with the black ebb with *words on the strap but do I need another black ebb?!

    1. Hi Blueberries! Agreed, I'm not crazy about the design, but I'll wait and see if it's better looking in person. I would get the Quilted belt bag in black, it's a little bigger!

  6. Green Jasper is a gorgeous color but too bad I’m not a big fan of green. I wish LLL brings back Night Diver, hopefully in a Plush Scuba!

    1. Hi Andrea! I ended up not keeping the Heathered Pink Taupe. The color was just a little off for me. I didn't love it in person!

    2. Oh that's too bad. :( Can't wait to see your fit review!

  7. Nothing new for me this week! I missed out on the Icing Blue HR HH 2.5s in my size but am not too upset since I already have them in the FYP Shorts. I don't really solely lift anymore, so I won't be ordering the Strongfeels. I do like the color combos and the soles, though. The Chargefeels are my fav and go-to's for workouts.

What do you think about the Psychedelic [something something] print in the mini belt bag? I kind of love it but am not sure how I would wear it. Maybe a bra?

    1. Hi LZ! I do like the Psychedelic Peri Purple print. That looks interesting and would like to see it in a bra or shorts.

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...
