New Releases Week of October 25th 2022

This was as uneventful drop! Nothing for me this week. I am trying to hold out for November sales. I will say Psychic and Pink Peony are very pretty. I also don't NEED anything, so if I add anything to my wardrobe it has to be special like the Rainbow Ebb To Street Racerback Tank from last week! I gotta run, let me know what you all think of this week's upload. I personally am more excited by Athleta lately. 😅

 New from Athleta

(This is one of my favorite Athleta hoodies, happy to see another color.)

(Love this line, would still need to get this hemmed a few inches shorter even in petite sizing.)

(Definitely eyeing these!)

  1. Nothing from me from LLL. I used to look forward to Tuesday uploads but not anymore, Athleta has more interesting designs which are petite friendly.

By the way, my order from Athleta came in and I love the Pranayama Restore Wrap in Dusk Violet! I also ordered the Pranayama Wrap in Tawny Rose but prefer the design of the Restore one. I also ordered the Westbound Sherpa Jacket which is really cute but a bit too short for my liking. You might wanna check it out.

    1. Hi Andrea! I was hoping you would report back on the Pranayama Restore Wrap! What did you prefer about the Restore version?

Did you order the petite or the regular for the Westbound Sherpa Jacket? I ordered it, but it's on backorder for me.

    2. Hi Leslie,
I ordered regular sizing for the Westbound Sherpa Jacket. It is shorter than I expected. :(

The Pranayama Restore Wrap has updated thumbhole designs like LLL’s new Swiftly LS. The pockets are on the side along the side seam (which I’m afraid you don’t prefer) so there are two less seams on the front, giving the Pranayama Restore Wrap a cleaner look. :)

    3. Good to know the pockets are along the side seam. I am wondering if that would be a deal breaker for me. Hmmmmm. I guess I will have to order one and see for myself!

I wonder if the Westbound Sherpa Jacket will be too short for me in the petite sizing.

  2. Nothing for me today! The pink asymmetrical bra is really cute but would be totally useless for me. I only wear sports bras to spin or Orange Theory, and that thing wouldn't cut it.

    1. Hi LZ - that bra is really pretty and cute especially in the pink. But agreed, I don't think I can pull it off anyway... lol!

  3. Nothing for me this week either. I look forward to some sales in November because I like to do Christmas shopping early!

    1. Hi Karen! Same here. Can't believe November is a week away! Yikes.

  4. I like the asymmetrical bra but I wouldn't wear it much or wear it alone as a top either. I want to try the Utilitech Cargo HR pants but they're $148?!

    1. Yikes! Those prices are a little too much for me. Plus they do not look very petite friendly either.

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...
