Fit Review! Allyson Felix Saysh Two Sneaker

Happy Halloween! Do you celebrate it? I love Halloween but I don't dress up for it these days. I do enjoy seeing everyone's pumpkin carvings and costumes on Instagram. Today I have a quick review of Saysh Two Sneaker. Saysh is founded by Allyson Felix- a five-time Olympian who is now retired. These sneakers are made for everyday wear. I absolutely fell in love with these shoes the moment I saw them. After reading reviews, I decided to go up half a size.

For reference I wear size 5.5 in Allbirds and for Saysh Two Sneaker, I purchased a size 6.

Saysh Two Sneaker White Size 6

I purchased these though Athleta's website. I'm glad I listened to the reviews because these shoes run very narrow. Even though I sized up, the size 6 was still very snug in the toe box and I don't consider myself to have wide feet. I think I have a regular width but with my Bombas socks, the Saysh shoes felt uncomfortably snug. With a lot of regret, I decided to return them. 😔

They came in a robin's egg blue box with a microsuede dust bag. These shoes also come with an extra pair of white satin laces to swap out if you wish. I personally love the colorful floral satin laces. I've never seen anything like it before and they're just so unique.

I also have not purchased a pair of leather sneakers in a long time. They still felt fairly lightweight and not heavy at all. The back of the shoe near the heel has a suede portion with the Saysh embroidered logo. According to the description, there's enameled hardware and hand-finishing painted edges. The attention to detail is incredible. These shoes are extremely well made and very high quality. The price is $185. If these had fit, I would have kept them.

This is an absolutely beautiful shoe. Even the sole is pretty. The midsole is lightly cushioned and did feel very supportive when I tried it on. It's a shame these are too narrow for my foot. I would love to revisit if they release these in a wider width. However, if you do have narrow feet, I would highly recommend trying these!!

That's it for me! Hope you all have a safe and happy Halloween! 👻

  1. Thanks for the review, Leslie! The sneakers are really really pretty and it’s a shame that they are too narrow for you. I do have wide feet but if they show up on Athleta’s Canadian site, I would size up half or even a full size and give them a try. They do look well made and I love the floral satin laces.

    1. Hi Andrea! If you do get to try them let me know what you think. If I went up a full size, they would definitely be too long for me, but would have fit better in the toe box.

  2. hi Leslie! Thanks for the fit review! The shoes look luxurious with the satin laces! Very special! It's good to know that these shoes run narrow because I have slightly wider feet and need shoes with a roomy toe box. I don't think these will work for me. I'm hoping that AllBirds will have a promo for Black Friday, as I'd like to get a pair of black or navy runners. Have a good week!

  3. Ah I missed this post! The sneakers are so pretty! The ribbon bow is so unique and very pretty. I went Trick Or Treating then gave away most of the candy.

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...
