Coach Review! Coachies Collection - Winkie Rogue 17

Remember last month when I posted my fall wish list? Well, I did end up making a few of those purchases and one of them is this adorable Rogue 17 Winkie from the Coachies Collection. They are limited edition pieces and most sold out pretty quickly, but there are a few still available.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall.

This is a limited edition Rogue 17. I'm still very much into mini sized bags since I no longer carry a lot of items with me on a day to day basis. The pandemic really changed this part of my life. No longer do I need large purses. I basically carry my card case, key holder, and my iPhone. Sometimes I'll carry my inahaler with me but that's really all I need when I leave the house.

Dimensions of the bag:
6 3/4" Length X 5 3/4" Height X 4" Wide
Handle drop 2 1/2"

While this bag has an adjustable and removable shoulder strap, I prefer handheld only. Why? Because the straps are attached in such a way that when you walk, the bag bounces around and it's a little awkward. The strap is attached diagonally from each other which makes it unbalanced. The straps really need to be attached on the sides preferable in the middle but this cannot be with the way the Rogue is designed. It's my only negative critique of this bag. Somewhat of a major flaw, but I'm actually okay with it as handheld only since it's not my everyday bag. I like to use Winkie when I'm going out on date night or when I know I won't be walking around too much.

I've gotten a lot of compliments and comments when I wear it out. People are always telling me how cute Winkie is. I know it's not for everyone, but I'm always looking for something whimsical to add to my handbag collection. You can't be serious all the time! Life is about fun and enjoyment. If something catches my eye and it makes me smile, why not carry it? Might make someone else smile too.

Made out of glovetanned leather, the eyes are made out of grommets and signature C's as hands but I like to think of them as dangling earrings instead.

The handle only has a 2.5 inch drop which is small, I can barely fit my wrist through.

On both sides of the purse has the Coach signature textile jacquard made of organic cotton and recycled plastic bottles. The main color is Flax yellow and the stock photo makes it look more muddy than it is in person. I wouldn't say it's a sunny yellow, but it's definitely a brighter yellow than what the website shows.

Hardware is brass.

On the back of the bag, the name Winkie is printed on the leather along with "Limited Edition" which I have never seen on any of my other Coach bags. This one is special!

Inside is lined with leather with two side compartments. The top photos show clearly where the strap attaches to the inside of the bag. Notice the rings are located on the four corners of the bag, the strap will be attached diagonally from each other which creates the unbalance. The only solution I can really think of is to get two straps and this way you can carry it as a shoulder bag. Might be too much work to find matching straps this way, but it's an idea.

The main compartment also has one credit card slot. It's lined with a thick canvas. Comes with a dustbin as well. The bottom of the bag has four protective feet. Overall, the quality is superb. I find it just as good as higher end designer brands like Chloe, Balenciaga, Gucci, etc. I would even go as far as to say the leather on Coach bags is even better than some of the Chloe and Balenciaga bags I've seen these days. It's shocking especially at the premier prices that are now $2500 on average.

This also fits my iPhone 14 Pro.

That's it for me! Let me know what you think of the Coachie's Collection. I absolutely adore Winkie. I'll always be a child at heart no matter how old I am. 😊 Hope you all have a fabulous Monday!

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
