Review! Lululemon Mini Belt Bag Brier Rose

Lululemon's Everywhere Belt Bag has been the rage over the last year and a half. I managed to get my hands on a Mini Belt Bag in Brier Rose for a comparison and review.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear a size 4 in Lululemon.

I have the strap set at the longest setting. Since I'm a petite 4 feet 11 inches tall, the bag sits right at my waist, which is perfect to wear as a crossbody. Note- that I am wearing the bag at its longest strap setting. I am not a fan of wearing around the waist since belts and anything of that nature makes my hips look wider and thus shorter in appearance. The strap itself is thinner than the Everywhere Belt Bag and does look sleeker.

Let's look at some of the details of the Mini Belt Bag. First, the logos. There is Lululemon decal on the left side with a fabric logo on the right side of the bag. The decal I would assume will eventually come off. I'm not 100% certain of course, but I wouldn't be surprised if it did happen. The zipper pull is a teeny-tiny thin orange piece of plastic. Not a fan! I want a substantial zipper pull and preferably metal.

The back pocket does not have a zipper like the Everywhere Belt Bag. I will have comparison photos below. The open pocket does worry me a bit. I don't find this to be secure and would definitely not keep anything of importance in it. Probably just tissues and receipts that I don't really need.

There is a mesh pocket on the inside of the bag, similar to the Every Where Belt Bag. This bag measures approximately 7 inches across, 4 inches high and 1.5 inches deep. It's pretty small. I can only fit my iPhone 12 Pro, my card case and my key holder. I don't think I could possibly squeeze anything else in there to be honest. Maybe a face mask in the mesh side pocket, but that's really it.

The zipper is plastic and while it is a pretty smooth zip, it is loud. You can hear it in my companion video which I'll link to below.

Here are some comparison photos between the Mini Belt Bag and Everywhere Belt Bag. The Mini Belt Bag is significantly smaller than the EBB. If I had to guess, it's probably 25% smaller. I cannot fit my iPhone 12 Pro in the back pocket of the Mini Belt Bag.

The strap is much thinner.

I much prefer the zippered back pocket on the EBB.

Overall, I think the Everywhere Belt Bag is much more practical, especially since the price is the same! They both cost $38. For those who are wondering, I have a Large Everywhere Belt Bag on the way for a review. It'll be interesting to see how it looks on a petite frame. That's it for me, let me know what you think of this mini belt bag and hope you all have a wonderful Monday!

  1. The regular belt bag is more worth it! I don't own any of the newer ones but am happy with the two I have! The details look much nicer on the regular size one though the mini is cute it's too small for me

    2. Hi Janessa! I just got the large EBB. While it holds a lot, I do think it can look a bit big on my petite frame. I have a review coming soon!

  2. Thanks for the review! I find that the regular ebb barely holds everything I need so there's no way I'll buy the mini one lol. I don't have the large one but I heard that it sags?

    1. Hi Blueberries! The large EBB just arrived, I wouldn't say it sags, but I did find that if the strap is not fitted against your body, the bag has a tendency to fall forward. I still need to play around with it, to see if there's a solution to that problem. I'm thinking the strap really needs to be fitted against the chest and body and instead of pulling the bag over your head to remove it, you have to use the belt buckle clasp to remove and put back on.

  3. Thanks for another great video review, Leslie! The regular EBB is the smallest size I would get. :). I’m interested in the larger EBB but definitely dislike the strap with two loops. Wish LLL would bring back the original strap mechanism with two buckles.

    1. Hi Andrea! Agreed with you, I prefer the original buckle strap. The larger size is a lot roomier though. I still need to play around with it some more.

  4. Thanks for this review! I have the large and like that it has multiple pockets. It's very spacious. I keep my ccw, keys, wallet, phone, and have even carried a small water bottle in it. Thing is, I'm petite as you are and it can be pretty bulky. So I'm considering giving it away or selling it. I just purchased the mini and it does the job but then its lacking a few things.. only a one way zipper and literally only fits a phone, wallet and keys. I have no use for the back pocket, maybe receipts but it doesnt fit much. I ordered the regular EBB so hoping that will be a happy medium 😊. Thanks again! - M

    1. Hi there! I thought the large was also too big for our petite frame. I like the regular EBB and lately I am also liking the Grid Belt Bag as well. It's a little bigger than the EBB but not as big as the large. The Mini, I just felt was too small for me. Hope the regular EBB works out for you!

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
