New Releases Week of August 30th 2022

We've reached the end of August with just one day left. If you've made it through the no-buy challenge with me, congratulations!! I did break it once with my Allbirds purchase, but I'm still going to take it as win. Please do let me know how you did if you joined me on the challenge.

Looks like Everywhere Belt Bags are back in stock! Not for long I'm sure. Also new debut of the Everywhere Belt Bag Large in three colors. I will have one for review as soon as my challenge is over along with the Brushed Softstreme Funnel Neck Zip Up Natural Ivory. I am super interested in this zip up!

Let me know what you think of this week's releases. There's a lot of large drops gearing up for fall/winter wardrobe refresh.

(This is so nice for fall!)

(Ohhhh I def want to try this!)

(Loving the gold zipper.)

(I definitely want to get one for a review, but I do think these will be too big for petites! But we'll see.)

There's also a summer sale that starts 8/31!

*I've partnered up with Allbirds! Click on my link for a free pair of Trino socks with your purchase of shoes or apparel. Offer will automatically be applied at checkout if socks are added to your cart.*

Over 150 new items just dropped!

(I really wish I wore dresses because this looks comfy.)

(This sherpa jacket is one of their best sellers for the last couple of years.)

(Definitely interested in this, the oversized sleeves are on trend I guess, because Aviator Nation just released a few tops like this too.)

(Loving this updated style. I have one from a few years ago that I still have. | My Review)

(Loving this trench coat. If I needed one, this would be it.)

(Flares and wide leg pants are back with a vengeance.)

Aviator Nation

(What do we think? I kinda like it!)

  1. Smoked Spruce is pretty! I'm hoping for 25" or 28" Aligns or some kind of cropped jacket/pullover. It's so similar to Dark Forest. I saw the Lab half zip in-store yesterday. It's really cute but is a bit too heavy weight for me. It would be nicer in Rulu.

What's up with the Tank Top Jumpsuit 23"?? I'm confused. There's a lot going on there...

    1. The Lulu Lab 1/2 Zip is cropped. I am getting a little tired of cropped tops. Need something in the middle of regular length and crops. =D

I just looked at the Tank Top Jumpsuit, looks best in black. But after that last jumpsuit I tried, I don't think I'd be willing to try another lol.

  2. hi Leslie, No buy went well for me this month. I think I may join you again in February. The Brushed Softstreme Funnel Neck Zip Up in Natural Ivory looks nice! If you end up getting it, I'd love to see a fit review please!

    1. Hi Karen! Yassss! I'm happy to have you join me again in February. Congrats on making it through! August is a long month, 31 days but February is the shortest month and in the end it balances out.

The Brushed Softstreme Funnel Neck Zip Up is on my list to review. Just have to wait a few more hours before I can purchase lol.

  3. I just got my Balance Waffle Hoodie in Borealis Green and love it! I went with one size down from my usual and the fit is great. Super comfortable and surprisingly flattering. It has dolman-ish (I know that’s not a word!!) sleeves which I don’t usually like but it works on this hoodie, I think. :)

    1. Ohhhh! I totally want to try this. I can't decide between the Borealis Green and Tinsel Purple. Might have to get both and see. Good to know it runs large. It's in my cart. With all the sales happening right now, I don't even know where to begin!!

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
