The website is definitely having some issues still. I didn't quite get everything but this is most of it! The only thing I'm going to order is the Softstreme Pocketed Hoodie in Graphite Gray. I love how Softstreme feels and would love it in a hoodie. I'm tempted to buy the Align Short in Diamond Dye Smoky Topaz that's fully restocked but $74?! OUCH.

ReplyDeleteHi Karen! I ordered it in my usual size 4. Hope it fits. I think Softstreme is pretty wearable. It feels cool to the touch so I am still able to wear it indoors. If I love it, I may be in trouble and will want more. =D

Suggest to size up for shinbene align dupes tight around the leg hem with more narrow elastic.

Coincidence... because my align short 4" bronze dupes arrived from Ali-express today.
Very impressed with them. Thought they be too short or ride up on my legs seen no problems, material thin, but not cheap, good quality and soft. Again don't be fooled there are not cotton soft like aligns nulu fabric but i may prefer these dupes.
Align dupes feel cooler in warmer temperatures reaching 90's today.. Haven't yet tried them out in a workout just yet, Got recent acute sciatic nerve injury and therefore immobile, go figure..
Bronze color isn't exactly like dusty clay but did find store on ali-express that comes very close to that color. You be the judge maybe will order it save some $$
They call it desert sun might be lighter brighter then dusty clay but for one Andrew Jackson note beats Align pricing worth a try.

Also buy caramel red in 4" shorts might have side outer seam but give it a try. Sizing up from normal size XS 4 in lululemon to Shinbene Small size 6. Only so the legs hem don't pinch the thighs.

Hope i'm not beating the same tired old drum about align dupes. Not affiliated with any store on Ali-express but those who find Lululemon little pricey this might be great option.
Last link i left last week at particular store on ali-express with your blog. Later i browsed found all the shorts sold out in sizes except my brown red color, Lol.
Maybe coincidence, being summer but Leslie you have big reach and impression with your blog. Might want to contact one of the stores if doing reviews you may get some cache of items from their store or percentage of sales. Big influencer like yourself should benefit with your hard work review. Doubt Lululemon would give a dam or cherish your reach with the blog unlike Ali-express stores..

As for colors, I really like Cacao and Desert Sun. For me Cacao looks a little too nude? I would personally go with Teal Lagoon, but if you can rock Cacao, go for it! I would be jealous...

I think Burnt Orange and Dessert Sun look pretty similar. The one closest to Dusty Clay IMO is probably Desert Sun. Are you going to get a pair?

The shorts you bought in Ali-express stores message them explaining your status being influencer. They may send boxes of items for you to review. Give it a try. Worst is they deny your request.

Hi Lola! I usually go one size down from the model that's wearing the graphite gray- if it looks like a relaxed fit and it seems to work for me- it ends up being my true to size. We shall see!

ReplyDeleteI recently tried on the Align Reversible Bra in store and was surprised how much I liked it. I don't think it's worth $58, so I'm waiting for a nice color combo to hit WMTM. Why are some reversible to the same color or just a heathered version of the same color? That kinda defeats the purpose of it being reversible... I want a true 2-in-1.

DeleteI tried the Align Reversible Bra a while back. I liked it, but the band around ribcage was too constricting on me. It fit everywhere else though! I've seen them hit WMTM pretty often, so it's smart to wait. Hah, true about the same color but different variation isn't as fun. I bet the designers were just lazy. =D
