A very small drop today! The Scuba Oversized 1/2 Zip Funnel in Ripened Raspberry is almost tempting. It's just so bright though. Speaking of bright colors, a couple of new shades were released- Turquoise Tide and Charged Indigo. They are BRIGHT! So far nothing for me, but if there's something you would like to see a fit review of, let me know in the comments below!

  1. I ordered the raspberry cream CRB last week and I didn't find it nearly as bright in person. I was hoping for vibrant like the pictures, but it was more muted IMO. It could be the way the color looks in the nulu material?

    1. Hi Stacy, thanks for letting us know it's not as bright as the stock photos show. Hmmmm.... I wonder if I should see for myself if I think I can pull something off in Raspberry Cream. I should probably stick to a smaller item though! =D

  2. I had the Scuba Oversized 1/2 Zip Funnel in Ripened Raspberry in my cart but decided the pink is too dark for me. Turquoise Tide and Charged Indigo are both super cute! Hopefully we'll see some shorts soon. Nothing for me this week!

    1. Hi LZ! Agreed, I would definitely consider these brighter colors were they to become available in shorts! It's almost summer!

  3. The Mini Belt Bag is cute but just 0.7 L in volume! LLL is phasing out the original Everywhere Belt Bag with the shorter strap and I’ve seen one color disappearing from the site everyday. Only three colors left on the Canadian site.

Turquoise Tide is such a pretty color! I’m loving Athleta’s Borealis Green as well! Both are so vibrant!

I wonder if Athleta is still making the Studio Wrap. I came across it on one of your fit reviews and have been looking for something similar on the Canadian site. Too bad LLL stopped making French Terry wraps years ago.

    1. Hi Andrea! I feared that's what Lululemon was going to do- phase out the original EBB for the Extended Strap version. Such a shame though because they really did cut some corners on the new version! I received Lavender Fog and probably won't keep it because of the change in details.

Athleta has retired the Studio Wrap for a while now. The Pranayama Wrap is still going strong, but I find the back to be too long on me. They are very nice and soft but I think they're better for lounge wear. Wraps seem very hard to come by these days! Not sure why that's the case.

    2. Oh what a shame! I don’t have the EBB in either the original or the new version so I cannot compare, but I hate that they are using the cheaper looking plastic zipper for all new colors. I definitely prefer the look of metal zipper.

On no, I was hoping for the Athleta Studio Wrap to show up on the Canadian site! :(. I am a wrap person and can never have enough of them! I am not sure if I like the Pranayama Wrap cos the material looks kind of thin. I also find the back a tad long. Borealis Green is so pretty though and I’m tempted to give the wrap a try when they have a sale!

  4. I really like Charged Indigo! If the Speed Up HR 4" comes in this colour, I won't be able to resist!

    2. Would love to see more Twilight Rose too. Too bad nothing new released in that color today.

I'd totally get the ripened raspberry in funnel neck if I don't already have it in the half zip. I don't find it too bright :)

      Nothing for me today...

    3. The ripened raspberry scuba pullover is so tempting. I love the rich deep pink. I wanted a bottom in that color, maybe in the align shorts but they don't seem to have that.

    4. Hi Blueberries - that's interesting to hear Ripened Raspberry is not too bright! Seems like it's across the board. Good to know.

Anonymous- Same I wouldn't mind seeing more Align Short in Twilight Rose and other pinks. I seem to be missing those colors in my closet.

  5. LLL truly has the best customer service and stand behind their products. My son's 128.00 surge hybrid pants came out of the wash with a mystery blotch at the side of the knee. I machine washed in cold and hung to dry as with all the LLL items. He refused to wear them even though I though the blotch wasnt that noticeable. It looked like an iron had damaged it but it was nowhere near an iron. He convinced me to try to exchange them even though I was doubtful they would do it. I brought them to the store. With hardly any questions asked they gave me a new pair. I don't feel so guilty spending my money there now LOL

    1. Wow that is excellent customer service. I haven't had any issues that required me to submit a return for damaged or faulty items. I've had pretty good luck so far. Thank you for sharing!

We tried HelloFresh for the past two months - Here's our review

Hi everyone! This post is written by my husband. Some of you may know he does all the cooking around here. 😅 We noticed we were spending a lot of money on food and eating out every month and wanted to see if a meal kit service would save us money and time. After looking at a few meal kit services we settled on HelloFresh. Without further ado, here's Jared's review. (Original post date Aug 2022). ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ As you may have seen from Leslie's Instagram stories for the past 2 months, we've been using HelloFresh for most of our meals. The main drivers for this were to better track what we eat and because on the advice of my doctor, I should be eating more home cooked meals. Before I go any further, it should be noted that my original career path was in culinary arts, but twists and turns in life changed that. So I do have formal cooking experience. A little background story. Over the years, I've developed

Review! Everywhere Belt Bag Extended Strap VS Everywhere Belt Bag Original

Happy May! Can't believe summer is right around the corner. I'm looking forward to visiting my family later this month. It's been nearly a year since I've been back to NYC. I'm already thinking about all the dim sum I'm going to cram in the 10 days I'm there! 😆  Today I have a review of the new  Everywhere Belt Bag Extended Strap  compared to the original  Everywhere Belt Bag  that is slowly being phased out. 😢  **** Update - The original Everywhere Belt Bag has been phased out completely. The website has removed the Extended Strap from the name. The updated version is now called the Everywhere Belt Bag!**** For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall.
