Upload! February 14th 2022 Valentine's Day Surprise!

Since I'm on a ban this month I haven't been checking for updates as religiously. 😐 Of course I should have known Lulu would do a surprise drop on Valentine's Day. It's not a huge upload but there are some decent items. My picks from this week are Align HR Pant 25" Diamond Dye Silver Blue Tidewater Teal and Align Short 6" Blue Nile. I still can't get over the price increase though, especially on one of my favorite items, Ebb To Street Cropped Racerback Tank is now up to $68. After tax that's just too much and not worth it. I will have to hope for WMTM. Maybe at the price hike these popular items won't sell out as fast? So far my other favorites are the Align Short 6". Will those be next? 😱

Let me know if you ordered anything!

Free To Be Wild Bra Dew Pink

(I guess better late than never?)

(I am kind of interested in this hoodie but the price! Looks comfy.)

(If I was in the market for a trench coat, this is pretty nice looking.)

(Interesting that she's wearing the Non Stop Bomber Vest over the Scuba Oversized Full Zip.)

(I like! More moody than the other versions.)

  1. Nothing for me from this drop. This month's low buy is going well so far!

    1. Same! We are more than halfway through the month with one more drop to go!

  2. Hi Leslie,
I didn’t know there was an upload yesterday! :). I’m no longer excited about weekly LLL uploads cos things are getting ridiculously expensive. Not a bad thing indeed LOL.

    1. I have to agree with you Andrea, the prices are definitely not fun anymore.

  3. Nothing for me this week.

Like @Andrea, I'm losing interest in the weekly uploads. I do like the Sonic Pink HR 2.5" Speed Ups, but I would have had to snag them within the first few minutes before they sold out. Not only do I not like the price hikes, I'm tired of the huge new upload hype, super limited quantities, and FOMO frenzy it creates. LLL knows what they're doing, and they're doing it well. I'm just not for me any more. I'll wait for WMTM, resell, or live without.

That said, I did find 2 pairs of EUC original Aligns (one with the Flashlight band!) for under retail on Poshmark this week, so I broke my low buy to get them while I could. To offset the cost and additional items in my collection, I'm selling some of my unused pieces. I'm still considering no new purchases this week a win, though!

    1. Hi LZ- It's definitely very disheartening for sure. Things sell out crazy fast and I'm sure half of it to resellers. With this no-buy month I have the attitude of well if it sells out, there will be something else for me next month.

I have also been going through my closet with the spare time I have and pulled out a bunch of items to list on Poshmark. So far in the last two days I've picked out 12 items. I hope to end up with 30 or so by the end of the month.

      Win for us!

    2. Speaking of reselling, what are your thoughts on the new-ish Like New program? Would you be interested in doing a post about it and possibly trying some items after your no-buy? I've browsed a bit, but it just seems a bit sketchy. The photos, descriptions, and condition of items isn't very clear, so I'm curious.

I also don't know how I feel about LLL double profiting. At least on Poshmark (or the like), a fellow lulu lover gets a bit back in their pocket--vs the corp...again.

    3. I'm not sure if I can try items from the Like New program, it says that the buyer has to live in Texas or California to purchase. Also looks like returns aren't free, it's $7 which isn't horrible I guess. If it does expand to Georgia I would be willing to give it a try if there was an item I wanted. But that's true, seems like the trade in doesn't seem to be a good deal.

For every item you trade in that meets our resale standards below, you will receive an e-gift card valued at:
$5 – tank tops, t-shirts, short sleeve shirts, long sleeve shirts, shorts, skirts
$10 – hoodies, sweatshirts, sweaters, pants, crops, leggings, dresses
      $10 – bags
      $25 – coats & jackets

Better off reselling on ebay or Poshmark. Lulu is just double dipping!

    4. Oh! I didn't realize it was limited to TX/CA buyers only, sorry! I'm in Texas, so I hadn't even noticed. If I ever purchase anything, I'll let you know how it goes!

    5. I would be interested in what you think of the program for sure. Thanks!

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...
