Fit Review! Rothy's The Driver + Vuori New Arrivals

Happy Valentine's Day! Do you celebrate this holiday? My husband and I actually do not really celebrate it. Why, do you ask? Because every day should be Valentine's Day! 😆 However if I'm being honest,  these Rothy's Drivers are the perfect color to wear on Valentine's Day. I purchased these back in November and I'm finally getting around to writing a review. It's still a little too cold to wear these out, but spring is coming and I'm looking forward to their maiden voyage!

For reference I wear size 5 in The Point, and I also fit a size 5 in The Driver.

Fit- these are very roomy in the toe box compared to The Point. I can wear a pair of thin liner socks for a better fit all around. (I have very thin feet.) Super comfy with nubs on the bottom of the sole for extra traction and durability. These do not stretch much, so make sure they are not too snug.

It still amazes me that these shoes are knitted from plastic bottles. As always these are machine washable which means they stay looking new and fresh which is important since they're meant to be worn without socks. Although I am tempted to wear this out with some thin mid-ankle socks. Is that acceptable, or no? 😅

Ash sniffing my new shoes. 😸

I love the cute outsole!

The color Raspberry is vibrant and gorgeous!

That's it for me! Hope you all have a fabulous Valentine's Day if you celebrate it. If not, here's to a fantastic Monday!

  2. hi Leslie! The Driver looks great in Raspberry! What a nice pop of colour! Have you tried to wear them with no-show socks? I find that the no show socks from J. Crew run small. I wear size 6-6.5 in most shoes and those socks are too small for me. Perhaps they would fit you?

Thanks for the heads up on Vuori's new colours for spring! Shade Heather is very pretty!

    1. Hi Karen! It is really hard for me to find no show socks that fit my foot. I recently tried a kids pair from Target and they were perfect. But I will check out the J.Crew ones. Thanks!

    2. The J Crew ones may look like size 6, but they shrank by one size after washing in cold and putting in the dryer!

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...
