Fit Review! Werkshop Thunderbird Athleisure Leggings

How is everyone doing? We actually had some flurries over the weekend. So far nothing stuck, but it's enough to have everything shut down in Atlanta. 😂 Coming from New York and Boston, this makes me laugh. We went food shopping the day before the expected "snow storm" and it was a mad house. Aisles were bare, and check out the candy aisle.

😹

Hope everyone is staying safe and warm out there! For today's review we have Werkshop Athleisure leggings. I haven't purchased a pair from Werkshop in while but this print really caught my eye.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and wear size small in Werkshop. I also typically wear size 4 in Lululemon bottoms.

I love Werkshop Athleisure leggings because they fit similar to Lululemon Align bottoms. They are super comfy and not compressive at all. The fabric also does not pill which I love. They feel smooth and buttery and just a little satiny. The length measures 28 inches which is obviously too long on me, but I just fold them up and under and it fits fine that way without much ankle flare.

I mainly fell in love with the artwork on this pair. This pair is called Thunderbird. The colors and design 100% do it for me. These are high-rise and it does come up just slightly over my belly button. There is the option to fold the waist down, but it doesn't bother me enough to do so, similar to Align bottoms.

The next few photos show them folded over and tucked under. I do like to wear these out casually with my black Dr. Marten boots. They're also great for lounging or for light workouts. I do wish these came with a gusset. That's probably my only gripe about their Athleisure leggings. Not sure why all their other bottoms have gussets but not these.

The price is $88 for a pair and I think it's a fair price considering these are also made in the USA. Let me know if you have tried Werkshop leggings. That's it for me! Hope you all have a fabulous Monday!

  1. I don't usually like patterned or graphic leggings but these are pretty - especially when you wear them as a stir up! Such great yogi vibe!

  2. The legging is so pretty like a piece of art! This would be my favorite of your Werkshop collection, and I really like the colors.

We are having a major snow storm here in Toronto and are expecting 60cm of snowfall. Over 30cm of accumulation already and more to come! We haven’t had so much snow for a long time and a couple major highways are closed. Just hope it will be over soon. Can’t really complain cos this is Canada lol!

    1. Thanks Andrea! I think these and Nightmare are my favorites. Definitely wearable art.

Wow that is a lot of snow, I just did the conversion, that's the kind of snow we would get when I lived in NY and Boston. Definitely don't miss it! haha.

    1. Hi Nina, I had to learn that as well. I am not a fan of compression leggings. After trying a pair of the Athleisure leggings, I ended up rehoming the Triathlon leggings.

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
