Fit Review! Werkshop Thunderbird Athleisure Leggings

How is everyone doing? We actually had some flurries over the weekend. So far nothing stuck, but it's enough to have everything shut down in Atlanta. 😂 Coming from New York and Boston, this makes me laugh. We went food shopping the day before the expected "snow storm" and it was a mad house. Aisles were bare, and check out the candy aisle.

Hope everyone is staying safe and warm out there! For today's review we have Werkshop Athleisure leggings. I haven't purchased a pair from Werkshop in while but this print really caught my eye.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and wear size small in Werkshop. I also typically wear size 4 in Lululemon bottoms.

I love Werkshop Athleisure leggings because they fit similar to Lululemon Align bottoms. They are super comfy and not compressive at all. The fabric also does not pill which I love. They feel smooth and buttery and just a little satiny. The length measures 28 inches which is obviously too long on me, but I just fold them up and under and it fits fine that way without much ankle flare.

I mainly fell in love with the artwork on this pair. This pair is called Thunderbird. The colors and design 100% do it for me. These are high-rise and it does come up just slightly over my belly button. There is the option to fold the waist down, but it doesn't bother me enough to do so, similar to Align bottoms.

The next few photos show them folded over and tucked under. I do like to wear these out casually with my black Dr. Marten boots. They're also great for lounging or for light workouts. I do wish these came with a gusset. That's probably my only gripe about their Athleisure leggings. Not sure why all their other bottoms have gussets but not these.

The price is $88 for a pair and I think it's a fair price considering these are also made in the USA. Let me know if you have tried Werkshop leggings. That's it for me! Hope you all have a fabulous Monday!

  1. I don't usually like patterned or graphic leggings but these are pretty - especially when you wear them as a stir up! Such great yogi vibe!

    1. Thanks Blueberries, I think patterns can be a lot of fun!

  2. The legging is so pretty like a piece of art! This would be my favorite of your Werkshop collection, and I really like the colors.

We are having a major snow storm here in Toronto and are expecting 60cm of snowfall. Over 30cm of accumulation already and more to come! We haven’t had so much snow for a long time and a couple major highways are closed. Just hope it will be over soon. Can’t really complain cos this is Canada lol!

    1. Thanks Andrea! I think these and Nightmare are my favorites. Definitely wearable art.

Wow that is a lot of snow, I just did the conversion, that's the kind of snow we would get when I lived in NY and Boston. Definitely don't miss it! haha.

  3. Wow! The artwork of these leggings is stunning and unique! They look great on you!

  4. i have one pair of Werkshop that I havent worn because theyre a pain to get on! It's one of their pairs that have so much compression, which is nice to have... but I get tired trying to put them on!

    1. Hi Nina, I had to learn that as well. I am not a fan of compression leggings. After trying a pair of the Athleisure leggings, I ended up rehoming the Triathlon leggings.

Review! Everywhere Belt Bag

Update! 5/2/2022 Read my comparison review of the Everywhere Belt Bag Extended Strap versus the original release. Happy Mother's Day to all those who celebrate it. Even fur moms deserve a little something on this holiday. I usually go back to New York for Mother's Day and this is the first year that I haven't been able to do so because of the pandemic. I did FaceTime my mom and grandma today, it's always nice to be able to "see" them. It's so much better than just talking on the phone.  Today I have a review of what I like to call my pandemic bag. I haven't used one of my high end designer bags since this whole thing began a couple of months ago. I am just a little concerned with everything coming in and out of the house these days and prefer to use something I can easily wipe down or throw in the washing machine. Which is why I purchased Lululemon's Everywhere Belt Bag .  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 on a good day. I'm usuall

Review! Lululemon Double Strap Face Mask

Update- I have an another review for the Ear Loop Face Mask  version. Hope you all had a nice relaxing weekend. I have tons of reviews coming up, but first I need to cover the Lululemon Double Strap Face Mask. It's currently sold out, but I do expect them to restock at some point.  Before we get into it, let's take a look at the mask by itself.  First of all, this is a not a medical-grade mask and has only a single layer. There is no pocket for a filter, and it's not lined. The material feels like my In Alignment bra  to be honest. It's very soft and pliable. Instead of ear loops, which is what I've grown accustomed to for all my masks, this one has a double strap that you adjust to your head. They're very similar to adjustable bra straps.   The inside has a very thick seam running down the middle of the mask along with a nose piece. There is no wire for the nose. By the way, I bought two masks, one for me and one for my husband. It's too small for my husb

Fit Review! Aritzia TNA Super Puff Shorty & The Little Fuzzy Puff

Hope everyone enjoyed their holiday weekend! I loved doing nothing for a few days. I got to relax and spent quality time with my furkids and husband. I also took a ton of photos - so I guess not all of it was doing nothing! This year I wanted to replace a few of my winter jackets. It took me a long time to find new coats but I think I finally found two winners! Both jackets are TNA - which stands for Talula National Athletics which is a Aritzia clothing brand. For reference I'm 4 feet 11 and typically a size 4 in Lululemon tops. Here I am trying on size small and XS in TNA/Aritzia. This is the first time I'm trying this brand. The Little Fuzzy Puff  Stone Taupe Size Small What drew me to the Little Fuzzy Puff is the inside fleece lining. It is super soft and cozy. The fleece lining is only on the hood and body of the jacket. This jacket is water resistant and wind resistant. It's also very light weight and packable. The fabric on the outside is very soft, similar to the
