Surprise Upload! December 17th 2021

Surprise upload! I guess Lulu is trying to get in the last minute gifts. New Scuba Oversized 1/2 Zip in Capri. Also a new Scuba Oversized Funnel Neck Shirt which looks a lot like the Scuba 1/2 Zip just without the hood. I might be willing to give that a try. Still no Plush Scuba Hoodies though. 😞

Let me know if you got anything! Have a lovely weekend.

(This is a really gorgeous blue)

(Hmmmmm I do love this color)

(So tempting!)

(This is so similar to the 1/2 Zip just no hood?)

(This is pretty)

  1. There are a few things that I like, but I'm disappointed that there's no Scuba Plush this year. The Scuba Light Cotton Fleece in Dusky Lavender looks nice, but I prefer the velour lining of the Scuba plush.

    1. Saaaaaame. Where are the Scuba Plush hoodies?! I guess maybe in the spring. Sigh.

  2. I want to try the funnel neck scuba especially in blue linen bc I wanted a daydream 1/2 zip forever ago (daydream is one of my fave colors and they're almost the same...). I don't love the scuba 1/2 fit now that I've tried Aritzia... soo.... I think I will get the POCC finally but they're all out of 0 except in the beige color! What do you think of the beige color? I'm debating between that and the night sea color.

    1. I'm actually looking at Aritzia right now, I'm thinking of getting the Boyfriend Boxy Zip Hoodie, but not sure if I should stick with XS or size down to 2XS. Any advice?

I like the Gold Beige color a lot. If it will work with your skin tone, I say go for it. Night Sea is really pretty too. Between the two, I would probably go for the Night Sea.

    2. I also wish the TNA Sweatshirt was a 1/2 zip instead of a 1/4 zip. =T

    3. If you want the hoodie to not be cropped and want to layer I would pick the XS but if you like it to hit at the hip or higher I would say you'd be ok with XXS! If you wear a 0 in the POCC I think XXS would easily fit you. The sleeves are long enough to pull over my palms and fingers on the XXS when i'm cold. The earlier run of the hoodie I got fit smaller but now XXS seems more generous compared to the two recent ones I got. I'm 5'2"

    4. whoops I meant to say the earlier run fits smaller but the two recent ones I got fit bigger but it's perfect and less cropped. It does shrink slightly in the wash I think. Also the GD items can fade and stain easily I read... so all mine are non GD. I do like the GD colors so I want to try one but the non GD colors are easier to take care of

    5. Thanks so much! I think I'm going to go with the XXS then. The two colors I like are GD colors. =T Maybe I'll get one and see how it is before I purchase another. Thanks for the input!!

  3. Oh I wish I knew about the upload earlier! :( Would've gotten the Scuba Light in Dusky Lavender but most sizes were gone by the time I checked.

So disappointed there's still no Scuba Plush in this upload. I was at a Lululemon store yesterday and didn't find anything interesting. No Define Jacket Velour or even the Hooded Radiant Jacket! I hope the Hooded Jacket will be released in beautiful Capri!

    1. Hi Andrea, I am surprised at how fast the Dusky Lavender sold out in the Scuba hoodie.

Ohhhh if the Hooded Radiant jacket comes out in a nice blue I think I will pull the trigger on it.

I know, I am very sad there are no Plush Scuba hoodies this year. =(

    1. I'm undecided but if I do see a color I love in the Funnel Neck Scuba I would be willing to try one!

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...
