Fit Review! Everywhere Fleece Belt Bag, Textured Fleece 1/2 Zip, Muscle Love Long Sleeve Shirt

Brrrrrr! It's chilly here! When I wake up in the mornings it's as low as 34 degrees and then the highs are in the 50s which is pretty abnormal for Atlanta. This is when I break out all my sherpa, fleece and cashmere that's been stored away for the last 7 months. I also started wearing my Werkshop leggings which I haven't worn in a long time. I forget how comfy they are when it's chilly and I don't feel like wearing my joggers. Hope everyone is staying warm! Let's get to this review.

I even broke out my Aviator Nation jacket!

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear size 4 in Lululemon tops and bottoms.

I debated between the Textured Fleece 1/2 Zip and the Cinchable Fleece Zip-Up. I ultimately went with the 1/2 zip pullover because I wasn't a fan of how the full length zipper looked on the Cinchable Fleece. Is it just me or does the contrast zipper detract from the jacket? If you tried it, let me know how you like it. I definitely prefer full zip-ups overall.

I sized down in the Textured Fleece 1/2 Zip and it fits well, but it does feel a little bit bulky because it is lined in soft cotton jersey. The fleece feels very soft, like a favorite teddy bear from my childhood. The sleeves are actually a good length on my arms. Just a tad too long but the draping looks nice.

From the back, this pullover looks really fantastic. I do think it looks better from the back than the front. The front looks just a little bit crowded and bulky. The kangaroo pockets stick out just a little bit making the front look wide.

I really do love this look overall especially in White Opal. What do you guys think of this look? I think it's very popular at the moment and this seems to be on trend for the past few years already and will continue this year.

Next we have a fit request for the Muscle Love Long Sleeve Shirt. I'm wearing my usual size 4 in Lululemon tops. This is definitely a cropped top. It hits right at my belly button.

The sleeves are fairly long as well, they almost cover my hands completely. I do like the slight billowy cuffs. I think it's a cute detail. I am not a huge fan of the seems on the back of the shirt.

If I raise my hands up over my head, it definitely shows quite a bit of skin. It also has a boxy fit which doesn't look terrible on my frame. There's a chance I could have sized down for a slimmer fit, but then the length would be even shorter.

The fabric is soft and slightly textured to the touch. I will say that it is very comfortable and I liked that about this top. This would look best worn with high rise leggings. I'm wearing my Phoenix Werkshop leggings.

Last but not least, and I know this is the review everyone was waiting for 😆 Everywhere Fleece Belt Bag! It's no surprise White Opal is already sold out on the website. I love my EBBs and this will be my fourth one! It still ranks as one of my best purchases in the last two years. Easily one of my most used accessories, so I couldn't pass this up. Is the fleece version worth it???

Seriously, how cute is this?! 😍

Most of the time I like to carry the EBB as a crossbody for completely hands free, but sometimes I do like to just sling it over my shoulder if I'm in a rush.

Let's get a closer look at some of the details. The fleece is pretty soft, not as soft as the Textured Fleece 1/2 Zip. The hardware is a light pale gold and it is very shiny. I kind of love it. I'm not a fan of super yellow gold so this is perfect for me.

I love the metal zipper!

This buckle will definitely show scratches with wear. That is something to keep in mind if scratches will bother you. The fabric part of the strap is an interesting color. In some lighting it looks gray to me. In sunlight it looks more of a golden taupe and it's really pretty.

Looks gray here.

Here it looks slightly more golden gray.

The size is exactly the same as the regular Everywhere Belt Bag. Same interior and back pocket. As you can see I've already moved my stuff in! This is a keeper. It's just so cute. I would like to mention that because of the furry fleece outside, the bag does appear to be slightly bigger than the regular EBB, but that's to be expected. Did you manage to get your hands on one? I would love to see this come out in a light camel color or a light pink! Ohhh baby just take my money!

That's it for me! Hope you all have a fun fleecy week!

  1. Thanks for another great review, Leslie!

I seriously thought of getting the Everywhere Fleece Belt Bag and now I kind of regret for not getting it cos the pretty White Opal color is already sold out online! I know it would get dirty in no time but it looks super cute! The brown and black ones are not even half as cute.

The Textured Fleece 1/2 Zip is surprisingly petite friendly and not as bulky as I thought, but I wish the sleeves were shorter. It’s a nice fleece top but I’m sure you can find something similar elsewhere with a better price.

The weather has been really nice here in Toronto and we really can’t complain! :)

    1. Hi Andrea! I totally agree the brown one isn't as cute. The black one I think has potential. What are the chances they will release more colors since it was super popular?

Hah, lucky! I am freezing right now in the apartment. Sometimes I even sit around with my cashmere scarves on. =D

  2. I was iffy about the fuzzy EBB at first, but I think I love it. It's such a special piece for the holidays! Hopefully it will restock. Thanks for the review!

  3. The EBB is so cute! I really love it! Definitely a keeper!

The Textured Fleece 1/2 Zip looks soft and cozy, but I tend to prefer full zip jackets because they're easier to put on and take off.

    1. Hi Karen, same... I definitely prefer full zips too. Pullovers mess up my hair!

  4. I was not sure about the fleece EBB until your review... I just ordered the black, which I actually prefer. I just wish that it had the gold hardware. Thank you for the review!

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
