Happy Friday! In case you missed it there was a pretty good WMTM update this week. In other news I am almost at the end of my no buy month and it's turning out fantastic. Only four more days to go. I highly recommend shopping your closet every so often. I have found so many things still with tags on that I finally wore. I also realized that there were items I wasn't wearing that are now my new favorites. I ended up donating or selling a lot of items that no longer work for me. It's been a really good cleanse for my closet. I look forward to doing this again in February! Hope you guys will join me then. 😆

Today I have another pair of Allbirds review. I've been wearing these since April and was hoping Allbirds would restock these, but so far they haven't. Not sure why because they're pretty darn fantastic.

I'm wearing my usual size 5.5 which is the same size I wear in Tree Dashers.

Tree Dasher Relay Prisma Sesame Size 5.5

These are essentially the same thing as the Tree Dashers, but without the laces. They feel and fit the same. I absolutely love them and would 100% buy another pair because who wants to deal with laces? As much as I LOVE my Allbirds and you all know I really do, the laces do come loose every so often. I should actually let you know that I do not tie my laces every time I put my shoes on, I only tie them when they come undone, which is once in a while! But still... no laces are definitely better. It's easy to slip these on and off because of the nifty pull tab in the front.

I love the mesh breathability of these. This is the Prism Sesame color and it's gorgeous up close. The colors are beautiful shades of pink, blue, red and beige. That's the thing with Allbirds. I love all the new colors and combinations they come up with. It's like skittles, you want to taste the rainbow. I want them all!

The elastic at the top of the shoe is very sturdy. I haven't had any issues of it fraying and I have worn them a lot over the past few months. I really like how breathable these are, especially for the hot summers. It definitely regulates the temperature of your feet quite well. For $125, you can't go wrong with a pair of these. The quality is amazing, the aesthetics and comfort can't be beat for the price.

My husband just got these Tree Dashers in Everest, and I'm jealous! I love this shade of blue/teal. I will have to drool for now. Allbirds also just released another color in Heathered Black with Peach Zest sole that looks really cool. I especially love the colorful eyelets, they really pop. It's a good thing I'm on a ban.... seriously.

  1. I’ve been waiting for your review on the Tree Dashers Relay! :). I’m not a big fan of shoelaces and wear slip on shoes most of the time. Would really love to try the Relay if it comes in a nice color!

Just checked and too bad Canada hasn’t restocked in Tree Dashers Mizzles Comet Purple! Will keep checking!

    Have a nice weekend!

    1. You and me both Andrea. I hope they do release this in the future. Would love to add another pair. Ahhh hope Canada gets a restock of the Comet Purple. They're really pretty.

  2. Although I like the convenience of slip-on shoes, I really like the look of All Birds with shoe laces. The look is very classic. Everest is a very nice teal! I hope they'll release women's Mizzles in this colour!

Thanks for encouraging me to do a no-buy in August. When I see something I like, I tell myself to delay the purchase until next month. Then after a while, I find that I no longer desire it. I really don't need more things in my closet. This weekend, I'd like to organize my closet and donate some clothes that I no longer wear. Hee hee, that will free up some closet space, just in time for the end of our no-buy!

    1. Hi Karen! Yes I do love the look of the laces, but the slip ons are just so much more convenient! The lace-less look does make it look more futuristic too.

I'm glad you went through the no buy challenge with me. I'm about to take another bag of clothes to donations as well. Feels good to do so! Let me know what ends up being your first purchase in September. =)

  3. The peach sole with the colored eyelets looks amazing! I went to an AllBirds store for the first time a few weeks ago and didn't know which to try first! I just looked around but maybe someday I'll own a pair.

    1. Hi Janessa! Next time you go back, definitely try the Tree Dashers. They are my favorite!

  4. I'm looking at both the Tree Dasher with laces and the Tree Dasher Relay, but I can't decide between them! Have you done any workouts in the Relay? Do they slip around more than the ones with laces? I appreciate your reviews with Allbirds - they have really helped me make informed decisions about what I buy!

    1. I have not done any workouts with the Relay yet, but let me try this weekend, I'll do some cardio and some weights using it (I have a pair of Tree Dashers that I use strictly for working out and will compare the two) and I'll get back to you!!

    2. Thanks so much! I'd love to just get both pairs, but decisions have to be made :)

    3. Hi Lola! The Tree Dasher Relay does fit a little looser than my Tree Dasher, however I think if I wanted a snug fit all around sizing down could have helped fix that problem. I think if you prefer a custom fit, and being able to have that control- the Tree Dasher may be more suitable for you. I use the Tree Dasher Relay just for everyday casual walking. You really can't go wrong with either pair if you get the fit you want/need. I always recommend getting a couple of sizes to see what you like best. Hope that helps!!

    4. Thanks for the advice! I will probably go for the Tree Dasher. I'm pretty fussy with how I like my shoes to fit, so the laces will definitely be helpful. The Relay is sure cute though!

    5. You're welcome! If you do get the Tree Dasher let me know what you think!

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...
