Upload! July 20th 2021

Today's upload is very interesting. Lots more Spiced Chai which is surprising, or maybe not? It's a really pretty color.  Tempted by the Ebb To Street Tank and the Softstreme Belted Wrap. I have a feeling the Softstreme Belted Wrap won't be very petite friendly based on the three sizes available. 😒

So far nothing for me. Let me know what you're interested in and if you would like to see a fit review of something!

  1. Hi Leslie! I have a few Back In Action shirts and I find the neckline quite flattering on my narrow shoulders. I'm tempted by the Back In Action dress, but haven't pulled the trigger yet because $98 is a little steep for a cotton dress.

    1. It is a little steep but if the silhouette is flattering it could be worth it. I am not sure about the back though? It looks a little shapeless for a dress.

    2. That's true. At least at regular price, it's returnable if it doesn't work out.

  2. I'm excited for Cacao to come out in a sweatshirt! I caved and bought a LLL item from their Like New... I got the scuba 1/2 in black and it should arrive today! It's in gently used condition. I'll report back on it! I haven't tried Like New before this

    1. I have not tried their Like New stuff. Definitely let me know how that is!! And how is the pricing?

    2. My hoodie came in packaged really nicely with a rip tag re-attached. LIKE NEW is stamped on the inside bottom hem. The black is slightly faded from a brand new black but nothing major and I don't mind one bit. The hoodie seems a little shrunken maybe from the previous owner but it fits me perfectly! The newer 1/2 zips I've gotten/tried like the TT and Spiced Chai ran bigger (especially noticeable in the arms width and length) than the older releasees (heathered grey, trench, submarine). I actually prefer the fit of the heathered grey the most and the black fits just like it! :D 'Good as New' would cost $69 but mine was 'Gently Used' and cost $59. Shipping is $7 and I had tax so it rang up to be $72 as opposed to the original $130 I would've paid for a brand new one. I got the item within five days.

    3. Oh wow. Thank you for your detailed report!! Do they take returns or is the policy similar to WMTM? This is probably really good for finding items we missed out on.

    4. They do take returns but you have to pay $7 to ship it back

  3. Just realized the comment I left yesterday never went through …

Interested in the Swiftly Breath LS Shirt Floral Fauna Blue Linen Water Drop but not sure if it’s a size up item like the regular Swiftly L/S? Any advice?

    1. hi Andrea, The Swiftly Breathe fits similar to Swiftly Relaxed. I would not size up. There are no thumb holes and the sleeves are shorter than the regular Swiftly. I like the fit of the Swiftly Breathe a lot. If you end up getting it, let us know if you like it!

    2. Hi Andrea, Karen beat me to it, but exactly what she said. Don't size up. I have a few in the short sleeve and love the fit!

  4. Nothing for me again this week. It's been a loooooong time since I purchased a newly-uploaded item.

I did realize how much sun I'm getting in my 99% tank top wardrobe, so I grabbed the Rise and Run SS from WMTM to try. I hope the highlight yellow and/or orange Speed Up 2.5"s get marked down in the next few weeks since we should start to see fall colors coming in soon. If so, they'll be mine!

    1. Let me know how you like the Rise and Run SS.

I'll be on a low buy/ no buy for the month of August! It'll be time to re-evaluate my current wardrobe.

    2. I received my Rise and Run SS today and like it so far! I'm typically a size 2/4 in tops, depending on the fit, but sized down to a 0 based upon reviews and am glad I did. It fits great and does cut up in the back a lot more than the model photo shows--at least on me. The material feels well made and lightweight and should do well keeping me cool while protecting my poor shoulders from the sun!

    3. LZ- Wow good to know! Thanks for the review. It looks like it would keep you cool. Does the front hang down fairly low?

    4. The front fits about the same as a Love Crew, so I don't find it hangs very low.

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
