Upload! April 20th 2021 & Athleta to Come to Canada!

First off before we start the upload, I just saw in the news that Athleta will finally branch out to Canada! Athleta will launch online this summer for Canada and will eventually open up retail stores in the fall. Just curious how many of my Canadian readers are excited by this news? I know I do review a decent amount of Athleta clothing and always feel bad for those of you in Canada.

Back to regular scheduled program and on to today's upload... some more grape thistle, lots of new shorts and more diamond dye pitch gray. Does anyone else find that odd? Seems like DD pitch gray just keeps popping up in new items. I'm not complaining since I love diamond dye. So far nothing for me. I am still waiting for my Lululemon order to arrive from last week. Let me know if you got anything!

  1. Yes yes yes!!! So excited about Athleta finally coming to Canada! I’ve been green with envy every time I read one of your Athleta reviews LOL!

Nothing for me this week and guess I’ll have to start saving money for clothings! :D

    1. Awesome! So glad you can finally try Athleta! Just a few more months. The one thing about Athleta that I really like is their generous return policy. You can try it out and return it within 45 days no questions asked. Similar to Allbirds.

  5. Nothing for me! I am hopping for some LLL skirts. Yay for Canadians!
I do like thee WT shorts in Grey Sage and Water Drop but I find them only good for working out as they're tight around my thighs but I'm not sure if I'd like a size up because they stay on perfectly for workouts

    1. I do love me some gray sage. I hope that becomes a classic color for Lululemon. Not sure about the shorts, I only work out in Align shorts, Speed Ups or Hotty Hots.

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
