Fit Review! Ebb To Street Racerback Crop Tank & Cropped Henley Tank Top

I am back! Here's a sneak peak of our accent wall in the bedroom. It's such a nice blue gray. The window is on the left, so there is so much sunlight during the day that I decided to try taking some photos in there while the room is completely empty of furniture and they came out fantastic! I'm so sad that this will probably be the only time I can do this because once the bed is in, there won't be any room for a photoshoot.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically a size 4 in Lululemon tops.

When I saw the Cropped Henley Tank Top pop up the first thing I thought was, wow that doesn't look like Lululemon at all, it reminds me of Aerie or Free People. But as I'm a sucker for Lululemon and slightly addicted, I had to try it. It's definitely different. It's a crop tank and made of anti-stink fabric which allows you wear this a few times before washing. I'm wearing my usual size 4 and I find this to be true to size.

It's a casual tank but I find this to be very versatile. It's great for lounging, also can be worn during errands and it's a tank top that can be worn during sweaty workouts. For $58 is it worth it? Probably slightly steep for what it is, but because I find that it is versatile I decided to keep it. It's also completely sold out in the heathered gray. I'm actually wearing it right now. It's really comfortable and very soft fabric. Would I buy it again in another color? Maybe? 😅 There's also a long sleeve version as well.

What's interesting is both of these tanks are the same length. They hit right around my belly button. It's not too cropped which I like. I don't mind showing a little bit of skin. Of course if your torso is longer than mine, it will be shorter on you. This tank has built in shelf bra with removable padded inserts. I'm wearing a size 6 which is my normal size in Lululemon bras. I'm an A cup and the tank is for B/C cups but I find that it still works on smaller chests. By the way, I managed to snag the Ebb To Street Racerback Crop Tank on WMTM last week. So glad I gave it a try for $39. Totally worth it. I like it more than the regular length. I find the the shelf bra and top fits me better, it's slightly smaller across the chest and more petite friendly. I am definitely going to add more of these to my closet. Hopefully more colors will be released for summer. The black looks so good with Athleta's Farallon Jogger Black Olive Camo and I don't usually like camo! A full review is coming this Friday. Spoiler alert- it's a keeper.

That's it for me! Hope you all have a spectacular Monday!

  1. I love the ETS Crop! A high neck with a slight curve around the arm pits is so flattering on shoulders. It looks great on you! Unfortunately, I find any built-in shelf bra to be so uncomfortable. I wish there was a true tank-only version.

    1. Aw, that's too bad. Have you tried the Power Pivot Tank? That one is kind of similar without a shelf bra.

  2. Can't wait to see your review on the Athleta Farallon. I bought the camo and then had to buy all the other colors, too. Then I bought the farallon camo shorts. I've been living in them all winter (california).

    1. I ordered a pair of the camo shorts too! It's a nice weight, not too thick but not too thin. Hoping they aren't too hot for summer here in Atlanta.

  3. Your gray wall makes a very nice backdrop! The pics look professional!

The light camo Vuori joggers look great with the Cropped Henley Tank Top! I love that outfit on you! Your second outfit looks nice as well! Look forward to your review on the Athleta joggers.

    1. Thanks Karen! Isn't it? I love that wall so much.

I have a feeling I'll be using those two tanks a lot.

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...
