Finally! We have some Lunar New Year items. I'm liking the Define Jacket and the Everywhere Belt Bag that came out last week. New updated version of the Face Mask came out which I ordered to try. If I like these better I may just give my other mask to my sister. What do you guys think of the new lavender dew color? I'm not really a pastel person as light colors tend to wash me out, but it's really pretty.

I did a send sale today for a Scuba 1/2 zip in Rosemary Green. I agree that I may get washed out by the lavender dew color. I like the new mask design and also ordered one to try. Do you know if it is the same fabric? I wonder why the price increase.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like the same fabric to me. Maybe the higher price tag comes with the re-design... it will be interesting to see if this one doesn't have the issues I was having...
DeleteI like the darker Lunar new year intricate oasis pattern. Hopefully they will release more Lunar new year items over the next few weeks. I look forward to your fit review of the new masks. The old design tends to pucker in. I wonder if the new one is better? Lavender dew and water drop are both very pretty, but I don't wear light coloured leggings and I don't need more tops, so I'm safe this week (at least until Thursday)!

DeleteI bought the Dark Red EBB last week (the site wouldn't let me reply to you for some reason) and just got it today. It's my first EBB and sadly it's too small for me and is going back. It has gold hardware but no special edition LNY tag.

That's too bad about the EBB! I think it's the perfect size just for essentials. I was hoping it would have something more special than just the gold hardware. That's too bad. I have two EBBs so if I get another one it really has to be different.

The lavender dew is a hard pass to me, I don't like that color on me at all. Oh, and after too much thinking, I'm ordering the EBB in dark red. Red is my favorite color, I already have the carnation red but I feeling I'll regret if I don't get it since the dark red is the perfect red to me.

ReplyDeleteI’m a purple person but agree that I too might get washed out by lavender dew. I prefer deeper purples and Black Swan was one of my favorite colors.
I got lucky and ordered a pair of Align Short Diamond Dye Pitch Gray 6” last Thursday for CAD 39. Someone might have put it on WMTM by mistake cos when I checked back yesterday it was back to original price at CAD 68. I am thinking of getting the 8” Align Short in Diamond Dye Verbena Violet Graphite Grey cos I remember you saying that the color is gorgeous. Not sure if 8” would be too long for my 5’3” frame though. Any thoughts?
Oh nice! I really want to try a pair in the 6" Align Shorts, but they're hard to come by. Funny enough I just ordered the 8" in the DD Verbana so I'll let you know how they are. Should be arriving in a few days. I am thinking if they are a little too long I'll get them hemmed. But the color is too gorgeous to pass up imo.
