Upload! November 10th 2020

What do you all think about crushed velvet? I think they did a better job last year. I like crushed velvet, but not on clothing. Maybe if it was some kind of accessory it might work. Just my two cents! For me this was a pretty disappointing upload. I am probably most excited for the Everywhere Belt Bag Deco Pink! I just don't know if I really need another one. I'll have to think about it. At least it's not super expensive. 😅

What do you think of this upload? Did you get anything?

(As much as I want to like this, I can't say I'm really a fan of this look.)

(This isn't bad, but still not quite there.)

(I think I like last years velvet more.)

(Very pretty red, but I really want the deco pink!)

👀😍

(This looks really red for soft cranberry.)

(Wish they had this in more colors.)

  1. Yep- disappointing upload. Not into the crushed velvet, although the aligns with the velvet strip along the side is cute. But i can’t wear the super high rise. Nothing for me this time. Maybe they’ll have a Thursday drop this week.

    1. I can't do super high-rise either. I forgot about the double holiday uploads! Will keep an eye out for that.

  2. A disappointing upload for me. Not a big fan of velvet but wouldn’t mind it as trimming as in plush scuba! Really looking forward to special edition holiday items!

    1. I really hope they release Plush Scubas again, even though the one I got last year is pilled up, I still love how cozy it is!

  3. Not a fan of this year’s crushed velvet. Nothing for me either.

  4. I'm also looking forward to plush scuba! I don't have one yet! I hope they'll have it in submarine! I remember seeing velvet wunder lounge pants at the Niagara outlet for $29. I have a feeling many of the crush velvet items will also go on significant markdown after Christmas.

    1. Agreed! I'm sure it will end up on WMTM. I have only been to a Lulu outlet once and it was kind of disappointing. Wasn't much there. Warehouse sales are way better.

  5. I want to like the velvet pieces, but I just can't get on board. I agree last year's were better, but they didn't entice me at full price or on WMTM...and some are STILL on WMTM. Nothing for me today!

  6. Crushed velvet looks cheap to me. I have been on a jogger kick lately and was intrigued by the R2R 7/8 Jogger but the cuffs look really loose.

    1. Hmmm let me know if you find any joggers that are petite friendly. The only ones that work for me have been Vuori. Lulu always just seems too baggy or too long.

  7. Disappointing upload for sure! I want align 25" in french press and french press align tank non-velvet! GRR. Velvet is not for me but that's not to say I wouldn't get a velvet align tank on WMTM because I love my align tanks! I've been layering them under long sleeve pullovers.

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
