Fit Review Friday! Align Tank Diamond Dye Iced Iris Peri Purple

Happy Friday! This is an early post and will probably be my last Lululemon review for a few weeks. 😞 I managed to snag the Align Tank Diamond Dye one morning while checking for restocks and grabbed it in size 4 and 6 since I wasn't sure which size would fit best.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches and typically a size 4 in Lululemon tops but for bras I usually wear a size 6.

The size 4 was definitely too tight in the chest/armpit area. Size 6 is the one I'm wearing and will be keeping. Just to give you more of a reference guide, I wear a size 6 in both Free to Be Wild Bra and Ebb To Street Bra

I didn't realize this tank also has peri purple in it. I actually really like the color. It's a nice blend of blue and purple. Combined with the diamond dye, I think this tank is really pretty.

The Align Tank has a built in bra. Normally I do not find built in bras to be comfortable, but the comfort level is amazing. I think I can probably lounge in this as well. The nulu is buttery soft, just like the bottoms. I do wonder if this will pill. I guess time will tell!

I'm very small chested and this tank has enough support for light workouts. I can also see myself wearing this under fitted jackets like my Hooded Define Jacket

Do you have an Align Tank? I'm late to this party but better late then never! Lululemon has been surprising me a lot lately. I was pretty sure this tank wouldn't fit my short and small chested torso, I was pleasantly surprised how nice this looks on my petite frame. I will probably add more Align Tanks to my collection. For $54, I think this is definitely worth the money.

Here's a couple of photos of Iced Iris Peri Purple vs Ivivva's Lavender Dusk

This morning while browsing for restocks, I noticed a new color for the Soft Ambitions Crop Crew! I'm tempted but I'm on a ban so I'm trying to be gooooood. It's hard. In case you missed it, I have a review up here. I really love it.

New to WMTM

That's it for me! Have a great weekend! I'm planning on doing a huge closet clean out and will be posting about it next week. Wish me luck! I'm going to need it!

  1. The align tank fits amazing well on you, Leslie! I have an align tank in black size 6 and really like it. The pro: nulu fabric! The con: straps are a bit long on me and tend to slide off my shoulders. I am 32C so it is pretty revealing, haha. It is good for low intensity workout at home and under a LS top when it gets cooler. I will get the align tank in the new ancient copper color if it restocks. By the way, the price on the new color was $58, a $4 increase!

I look forward to seeing your collection and following along your closet cleanup. Good luck!

    1. Thanks! Now that I know I fit a size 6, I will definitely look to add a couple more. I would want a black as well. I will have to see if I have any issues with the straps. I did not notice the increase! Yikes!

Thanks, I am still cleaning up! It was a long day!

  2. I love this Align tank on you! It’s a great fit and I really like the color. I am a 34DDD and when I tried this tank on it immediately went back, way to revealing and inappropriate. Glad to see it fits you! :)

  3. I also love this tank on you. Fits you well and the color is so pretty. In real person, do you like this print better or the Ivivva version? I’m tempted to order this pattern/color in the Align Crop now that I see how nice it looks on you. :)

    1. Hi Andrea, I updated the post with some photos comparing the two prints. I think I prefer the Ivivva, because it's more saturated. But for a top, the peri purple is pretty. I think I gravitate towards darker colored bottoms in general. Let me know what you think!

    2. Thank you so much for the comparison, Leslie! I agree that the Ivivva print is more saturated and glad I got the pant! :)

    2. Someone walked up and stole of off the porch. The FedEx person didn't ring the doorbell and it was stolen like fifteen minutes later (caught on camera)

    3. Ugh that's awful. Will Lululemon refund you? Or do you have to call up your credit card company?

    4. LLL refunded me thankfully. They were super nice about it. Time to buy more things I guess...

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
