Fit Review! Rogue Renegade Zip Hoodie

Super excited about this fit review. I've been eyeing the Rogue Renegade Zip Hoodie ever since it was uploaded. I really wanted the alpine white over the black, but by the time I was ready to pull the trigger the alpine white was sold out in my size.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically a size 4 in Lululemon tops.

This is one of those hoodies where you can easily size down if you want to. I stuck with my regular size because of the crop length. I didn't want it any shorter than where it falls on me. It hits right underneath my belly button. If you have a really long torso, it will be even more cropped.

There is some creasing from being folded during shipment which I hope will come out.

The hoodie is oversized and I do like the collar when zipped all the way up. I think this is a super cute hoodie. Very flattering in that oversized look. The sleeve length is long but not too long that it is annoying. I also like the back vent detail.

The fabric is smooth luxtreme and it feels really soft and buttery. This is a light weight hoodie. The fabric did have a rubbery smell when I took it out of the plastic bag. I've had it for a few days now and the smell seems to have dissipated.

I love this kick ass hoodie and I'm borderline obsessed! I also think the black looks really nice and probably the better choice between the two colors since I'm a total klutz when it comes to food and the alpine white would just get super dirty. That's just me!

Price is $128 and I think it's well worth the money. My husband even loves this hoodie on me. I hope Lululemon releases this in more colors. I wouldn't mind adding one with some color to my wardrobe! That's it for me, hope you all have a great Monday!

  1. At first glance I wasn’t sure if I liked this hoodie on you but I keep coming back to it and decided I really like it! It looks super comfortable and stylish. I may have to cave and buy it myself before they sell out! :D

    1. It is super comfortable. It's crazy how fast things are selling out on the website these days. Crossing my fingers for more colors.

      - side note looking at the photos - my hair is such a wreck. EEK! LOL

    2. I’m interested to see how it fits on me!

Your hair isn’t that bad! And it is a cute cut, I like it on you! Frames your face well. You should see my hair, it hasn’t been cut or colored in 7 months. I’m a hot mess. I have an appointment scheduled for next week and I’m looking forward to it!

    3. I'm not that far behind! I think it's been 4 months since I've had a cut and color. Things are opening up but I'm still so scared to do anything. The numbers don't seem to be going down in Atlanta. =T

BTW I received my Athleta order. The Solace Bra is very nice! I'm excited to try it out, so far I really like the fit! I love how soft it is too. Thanks for the recommendation!

    4. I live in a very rural area and thankfully haven’t been effected too much by the virus. I feel for you though, it’s important to stay safe!

I have been wearing my Solace bra a lot, I bought it in a couple of colors and really like the fit and material. Glad you like it so far!

    5. Got my Rogue Renegade hoodie today! I went one size down and really like how it fits and feels. I think it will get a lot of wear from me. Thanks for this fit review! I’m not sure if I would have bought it had I not seen your review. :D

  2. The hoodie looks super cute on you! At first glance I thought it was made of my favorite Spacer fabric and am surprised to learn that it’s indeed Luxtreme! The fabric looks substantial and comfy.

Not a crop jacket person but I love the stand-up collar, and the the back vent is a cute detail. The sleeves are a bit long on you but that’s not a deal breaker. I think the hoodie will go well with a variety of bottoms!

    1. You know, it does feel like Spacer fabric- but I don't have any items that are Spacer in my collection so I can't compare to know for sure.

  3. I ordered this in both my normal size 6 and one size down, I ended up keeping the 4 because I'm 5'0" and it hits around the same place as it does on you - it took me forever to pick between the two. I love the spacer fabric but I find that it snags pretty easily (the first 4 I ordered came with a snag), so be careful!

    1. Hi Evelyn, that's interesting that it is luxtreme on the website, but looks like it may actually be Spacer fabric. I don't have anything that's Spacer so good to know that it snags easily. Thanks for the heads up!

    2. My three Spacer jackets hold up very well and I don’t feel that the fabric would snag easily. Two of them are black and one faded after a couple washes while the other didn’t. The fabric content of these two black jackets are slightly different though. I love that Spacer fabric doesn’t pill and dries fast.

  5. Hi! Just wondering if you have tried the scuba full zip hoodie in heathered springtime and what is the difference? Im a little confused with all the different versions of scuba jackets!

    1. Hi there, I have not tried that exact color on. You and me both! I haven't liked the Scuba Hoodies lately because of how tight the arms are, especially around the wrist cuff. So they're off my list. I've only got one left and it's the camo version. I tried it on yesterday actually and the fit is good everywhere else just the arms really annoy me. I can't push them up to my elbows if I need to.

    2. Im quite petite in size but i do not like so tight fitting jackets either! Im about 143cm and i usually wear size4 sports bra so am afraid if i get size4 for the scuba the sleeves will be too long! Worried the sleeves will be very tight fit too! But thank you for your reviews! They have been pretty informative!

    3. I am a little taller than you, the sleeves are fairly long on Scuba Hoodies. Here is the one I still have it's a size 4, the photos are at the end of the post.

I think it looks fine, but the sleeves can't be pushed up. As long as that doesn't bother you, you should be okay.
