Upload! May 12th 2020

Did I miss the Align Tank in last week's upload or something? I don't recall seeing this, but it could be that I am just more forgetful these days. It's definitely something I would be interested to try. Anyone have one?

Nothing for me this week. I am loving my new Ebb To Street Bra and would love to see it come out in more colors. I think I may have to retire my Free To Be Wild Bras. The straps are really starting to irritate the top of my shoulders. Also want the Align Short in the naval blue diamond dye. Maybe that will come next week? Hopefully I didn't already miss it! Seems like this are definitely selling out faster during quarantine.

Anything for you?

(Maybe they will release more in another color next week.)

(I like this tank, but wish it wasn't so long!)

(Pretty! I need this color in the Ebb To Street Bra.)

(I actually really like this Align Shorts.)

(I can already tell these would probably be full length on me, otherwise would love it if they fit me the way they do on the model.)

(I just love this color.)

(Pretty, I hope to snag one of these on wmtm eventually.)

  1. I got the align tank but I'm not sure if I'll like the color in person. I'll have to see! Also my size sold out so I got a size down.. hopefully it fits

  2. I purchased the Align tank in black, but I didn’t care for it. The bust was very tight and the midsection was comically loose. I was surprised at all of the positive reviews. Just my two cents though! :)

    1. Interesting! Did you stick with your true to size?

    2. I went up a size as recommended by others, but I think even my usual size would have been odd fitting. Definitely interested to see your review if you purchase!

    3. Looks like it is completely sold out now, so I will have to wait until they release it in another color.

  3. Apparently Align tank is one of the most coveted Lulu products. I bought one in black in 6 (my size up based on reviews) to see what the hype is. It is great for low impact exercise at home and under a shirt. I don't think I will wear it by itself in the gym since the cut is pretty low. I could have gone with size 4. Overall I like it but not enough to buy another one in a light color.

On a different note, I just received a 25% off coupon for completing the recent Strava-Lululemon challenge. I wish I could go to a store to check things out in person. Did anyone else participate and receive the coupon?

    1. I got the Strava coupon as well! And same here - I wish I could go in to the store to try on items before using the coupon. Nothing really is jumping out at me on the website right now (I'm not a pink, peach, orange type of person) so I'll probably hold on to it until next Tuesday. Crossing my fingers that some nice blues and purples will drop!

    2. AmherstLulu- Interesting, my bra size is usually a 6. But my tops are normally a 4. I will probably try a 6 if I ever see one in stock. Looks like quarantine is making everyone order online and things are disappearing faster these days.

    3. Leslie, my chest measurement is 32C if helps. As I get older I prefer my clothes to have a loose fit. You may want to order both sizes to try. I should also mention that you won't like it if you don't like long line bras. It is one of those pieces that looks the best on tall, lean, flat chested models. Sigh

    4. LOL made me laugh with the long, lean, flat chested comment. I've only got the flat chested part down. Sigh. It will probably just make me look like a sausage! =D

  4. I totally missed the upload yesterday cos I thought today was Tuesday LOL! Nothing for me but like you, I would love to snap the Vinyasa Scarf Modal Heathered Iced Iris if it’s on markdown. Not that I need another scarf though! :)

Diamond Dye in Naval Blue is very pretty, but I’m not 100% loving my Wunder Under Train Time Crop in this pattern. The crop itself stays in place, but the waistband doesn’t. I hate having to adjust the waistband from time to time.

    1. Hahahaha that is hilarious!

Oh really. Are you going to return it then?

    2. I’ve taken the tag off and not sure if they will accept a return. Remember the Ivivva Rhythmic Pant in size 10 that I have to return? I’m still waiting for a return label from Canada Post! I wish they give you the option of choosing the shipper on their website.

The other day I tried calling and having waited for over an hour, I got hung up. It’s getting really frustrating, and why I’m hesitant to place any new orders.

    3. I hear your pain. I'm still waiting for a refund and Lulu has had the package for almost 3 weeks now. The other day I had to talk to customer service regarding an item I never received and was on the queue for 2 hours before I finally got someone!!!

So yeah I agree, the return situation is not fun. I have a few more things I need to return and I don't know what to do!

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
