Fit Review! Rally Wrap Stargaze

Hello everyone! I hope everyone is being good and staying indoors. Please please follow social distancing. I'm hearing so many scary stories and it's breaking my heart. My husband and I have been staying indoors with our cats. Lots of snuggles and naps. We have enough food to last us a few weeks so we don't have to go out. How is everyone doing?

So today, I have a fit review of the Rally Wrap in Stargaze. For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically a size 4 in Lululemon tops.

The fabric is modal and it feels amazing. It's super soft and feels very luxurious. It's kind of hard to describe. It's a light to medium weight wrap. The quality is there but I don't feel like it's worth $138. The snaps at the collar are a little hard to use and I fear that they might end up tearing off if you're not careful. I definitely would consider purchasing on WMTM.

I'm wearing a size 4 and it's a little big on me. I wouldn't mind trying it in a size 2 to see which one fits better. The sleeves are very long and it looks a tad big but it doesn't look awful. I think it's one of those wraps where the size is preferential to the wearer.

The wrap drapes beautifully. The color is a light lilac with a hint of silver. It's very pretty in person. Normally I am not attracted to light colored wraps, but this one is very tempting. I also do not like curved hems, but it works well for this wrap.

Overall I'm a fan of this wrap and find it to be very flattering. I'll be keeping an eye out for this one to hit WMTM. What do you think of this wrap? Yay or nay?

  1. I am torn about this one. I’m not sure how I like the way the bottom hem curves, it kind of reminds me of an upside down tulip flower. But I’m not a fan of curved hems in general. The color looks pretty though.

    1. Normally I feel the same way, but I think the curved hem works here. I def don't think it's worth full price however.

  2. I like the rally wrap on you. I try to stay away from the front curved hem too, but this one looks like they have the proportion right. Looks good from the front and back. Sleeves are long, but that’s ok. Really like the color on you too. I may have to check it out too when it hits wmtm. I vote yay! Oh, only thing I’m not thrilled about is seeing the snaps when left open, but at least the ‘blend’.

    1. Yay! Hopefully I'll be able to find one in my size. I definitely agree with the snaps, but it isn't a deal breaker for me.

  3. I like the wrap and in that color! It looks very fresh for spring as opposed to dark colors. Not sure it's worth the price but very pretty!

    1. It is very pretty, it's on my wish list. I agree, Lululemon's pricing lately is getting out of control. This wrap is definitely not worth $150 after taxes.

  4. You should definitely try on size 2. The sleeves are ridiculously long and size 4 seems to fit big on you. I remember trying on a size 4 in the store (they didn’t have size 2) and it looked okay unbuttoned. Once buttoned up the curved hem looked odd and the wrap flared out in an odd way. I have to say the material is super soft though.

Not in the mood of buying anything but still look forward to today’s upload. Very strange that the Align Crop 21” Diamond Dye which I purchased has disappeared from the website and Lululemon has uploaded a similar one in Super High Rise. Wonder what happened to the style I bought ...

    1. Hi Andrea, I do think a size 2 would fit. It's always the sleeves!

I actually added the Align Crop that you bought to my cart the other day, but now they've mysteriously disappeared from the site again. Well if they decide to release them later on WMTM, maybe I'll pick up a pair.

      Take care!

  5. Hi there,
    I just discovered your site!
I am not petite at 5'8 but I have a very short torso. I am looking forward to reviewing your blog for your insights and comments on new Lulu. As everything can fit differently, it's always great to know in advance before making a mistake in buying it. Great job over there!!!!

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...
