Fit Review! Align Crop, Fast & Free Tight 25" Nulux

I have a quick try on review for you guys today. I really like the polar lights print and grabbed the Fast & Free Tight to try on.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches and typically a size 4 in Lululemon bottoms.

These are made of Nulux and the fit is snug putting them on but once everything is in place they are very comfortable. The waist feels like they would stay put and I'm wearing a size 4 and find these to be true to size. The waist is also high-rise and hits my belly button.

The print reminds me of the cosmic galaxy and it looks like it does stretch to white a little bit, but it's hard to tell for sure because it could be part of the print. There's so much going on and the colors are very rich and saturated that it looks fine.

These are reflective and carry the hefty price tag of $128. The length is 25" but are too long for my short legs. They do bunch quite a bit at the ankles.

I love Aligns for how soft and buttery they feel. These are still fairly soft but not quite as buttery because of the print.

When I saw these online I added them to my cart right away, but after seeing them in person the colors are a lot more subdued and not quite as vibrant. I was pretty disappointed! These fit true to size and passed the bend test for me in the fitting room. I'm still waiting to add a print to my Align collection. I really was hoping this one would be it.

I've mentioned this a bunch of times, but the 21" inseam are super baggy around my ankles. I really wish they still made these in the 19" length. I have purchased a couple of the 21" and had them hemmed. It seems to do the job but wish I didn't have to hem in general.

That's it for me! Short and sweet. Have a great Monday everybody!

    1. I thought the Polar Lights looked pretty good in person, but it was the Floral Illusion that was a disappointment. Thanks for stopping by!

  2. The Polar Lights print is really pretty! I’ve never liked Fast and Free cos there are too many seams for my liking. Solid colors might be okay, but for large prints it can look too busy. This one is not too bad cos the print is kind of subtle.

I wish you got the chance to try on the Align Crop in grey Space Dyed print with a hint of pink. I wonder how it looks in person!

    Thanks for the review, Leslie!

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...
