Fit Review Friday! On Repeat Bomber

Happy Friday! Last weekend I stopped by the Lululemon store and saw the On Repeat Bomber on the mannequin. It looked cute with the tights paired so decided to try it on. This bomber has been on my wish list for a while.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 and typically a size 4 in Lululemon tops. For the On Repeat Bomber I am wearing a size 2.

On Repeat Bomber Heathered Core Light Gray Size 2

This jacket is very petite friendly. The length hits at my hip. The sleeves are not too long. The body is semi fitted. I think if I wanted a more slouchy look, a size 4 would have been fine too. I really like the light/medium gray color and the fabric is a soft cotton blend. I was really surprised at how much I liked it! My only small criticism is the O ring. Wish it had a regular zipper pull, but maybe the O rings are popular now? I've been noticing a lot of zipper pulls with the O ring lately.

I think this jacket works well on the weekend running errands, and I think I may even be able to get away with wearing this on casual Fridays. The lines make this jacket look sporty but also very modern. I love the texture as well. This is a lightweight jacket, not meant for cold weather so it is probably too cold to wear this right now as it's freezing, but once it is back to 60s/70s temps I will be wearing it often. This is something I'm very happy to have added to my wardrobe!

That's it for me hope everyone has a fabulous weekend! Stay warm!

  1. That is very cute! I like the O-Ring zipper pull - gives it some visual interest, especially when the jacket is half zipped. I like the texture of the jacket too. Thanks for the review!

    1. True, it does look good when half zipped. Maybe it will grow on me. =)

  2. I love how size 2 looks on you! Very simple and sleek. Honestly I’m not a big fan of the O-ring which looks kind of cheap, but somehow I don’t mind it on this jacket cos, like Shirley said, it gives the jacket some visual interest.

    Happy weekend!

    1. Thanks! Yes they do seem cheap which is why I don't like them as much, but it does work well in this case. I wish the ring was a little more substantial or something, seems a little thin.

  3. This is so cute....does this jacket run a little big, then, since you normally wear a 4 and you chose a size 2? Thanks.

    1. Yes it runs a little big, but I think if you want a fitted look, you can probably size down but if you want a little more looser fit stick to your usual size. I would say it's personal preference because I could have gotten my normal size 4 and it would still have been fine. It is cute!

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
