Fit Review Friday! Pack It Down Jacket, Warm Down Jogger, Align Pant

Happy Friday everyone! October is winding down and it is finally borderline cold. Next week we are expected to hit the 40s in Atlanta. That means I'll be looking forward to breaking out some of my jackets. About time I say. I love hot chocolate/apple cider temperatures and rainy weekends where I can use that as an excuse to stay in cuddled up with my five cats. 😆

Today I have some cozy clothes up for review. For reference I'm 4 feet 11 and typically a size 4 in Lululemon tops and bottoms.

This is one of those jackets where I can size down to a 2 if I want a more fitted look. If I want to layer in this jacket I would keep the size 4. This is a very light weight jacket which is nice, it will keep you warm without the heavy weight of a coat. It is packed with 700 fill goose down. The fabric is also water resistant. The smoky blush is a very feminine and pretty light pink. The lighting in the fitting room is making it look more yellow than it really is. The hood is fitted for blocking out as much wind as possible.

This is probably more accurate in terms of color.

The sleeves are long, but not too long that it would bother me. The length if this jacket hits my lower hip and covers the bum. Overall I definitely liked this jacket a lot, but I already have a down coat from last year so I am not in the market for a new one. However if you are looking to purchase a new jacket and looking for more colors, there's a few on WMTM for $139.

Next up we have the Warm Down Jogger. I love wearing joggers, if I could I would live in them except my husband would probably leave me. 😂 They're not always the most flattering, but they sure are comfortable! The Warm Down Jogger soft touch is no exception. These are super soft and comfy and I would never want to take them off.

The length is too long for my short legs, but once folded under they looked much better. The waistband is soft and very stretchy. The size 4 fit perfect in the waist. There is a drawstring to cinch it in if needed.

The one thing I didn't like about these joggers is how thin the material is. You can see every single panty line. I guess these are only for lounging around the house. I wouldn't go out in these!

I had to try on the textured herringbone Align Pant. These are very soft and fit just like all my other Align bottoms. I'm wearing my usual size 4. I would have bought these if they were the crop version.

The ankles just do not fit my legs. It's the main reason why I left these behind. These feel very soft and cozy, perfect for fall weather.

 Close up.

That's it for me! Hope you all have a great weekend!

    1. Hi Anna, I don't for sure when they will release holiday drops, but my best guess is middle of November. Probably a few more weeks? If you do end up ordering the Athleta leggings, let me know what your thoughts are!

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
