Upload! May 21st 2019

A couple of items excite me about this upload. The Define Jacket Wee Are From Space Pink Bliss Vintage Mauve for one. I really don't want to buy another Define Jacket! I have four in my closet and really don't wear them enough. The collector in me wants it though! On The Fly Wide Leg 7/8 Pant Woven is also on my wish list. If it hits WMTM I may get it. I tried it on at the store and it is very flattering on petites. It is more full length, but it still works. I think I may finally pull the trigger and purchase a pair of On The Fly Pant in the 7/8 length. I keep hearing good things about them. What did you think of tonight upload? Is there another you would like to see a review of? Let me know in the comments!

(Hmmm not going to lie, but this is super tempting! This is one of the better Define Jackets IMO.)

(Definitely want to try this one... still waiting for another color though.)

(I tried these on and actually really love them, will have a review up Friday. I don't love the price tag tho! 😞)

(Has anyone tried these? Curious to know how they fit and if you like them or not?)

(Anyone try these as well?)

  1. I have the namastay put hipster- love the ‘barely there’ feeling. The fit is tts. A lot of the reviewers talk about them falling apart in the wash,etc... I haven’t had that problem. I’ve had them over a year now and still in good shape. I just bought another 3pk off the new upload - I need a smaller size now- yay! I really like the new define colors and am also tempted, but like you- I have quite a few. I did just get the hooded define and really like it. I sized up to a 10 (I usually buy size 8 in defines) because 1) it’s nulu and when zipped up it shows any rolls (muffin tops or seams) 2) I don’t want to worry about what I’m wearing underneath. I cAn wear a sweater and just throw the define on. Definitely want to see your review on the on the fly wide leg. Received the wunder under lace crops 21”. Unfortunately, they have to go back- ‘baggy ankle’ syndrome. I’m 5’1, I know you can relate. Lol

    1. I feel your pain, I no longer buy crops at 21 inches. Over the weekend I went to the store to get a pair of Align Crops hemmed and they told me even if I hem it 3 inches high, it may still be baggy on me. Wuttttt. So fingers crossed!!!

I'm glad you like the Hooded Define! I love mine and wear it a lot, I also had to go up a size as well.

Thanks for the Namastay Put hipster review, I may give it a try.

  2. I also wear the hipster undies, usually with tights. No real seams so they are pretty invisible under there. Never had a problem with them, unless you count the rather high price. But then again, most underwear seems to be costly these days.

    1. Yes, they are really expensive these days. $12 a pair or so on average. I told my husband, and he's like that's not that bad... my boxers cost more...

      lol.

  3. Just received the hooded define- it has a snag in the front! Is it that delicate??? Also, not liking the gray zipper :(

    1. It arrived with a snag? Oh no. Is it a finale sale? I would ask to return it. I haven't had any issues with my hooded Define yet.

  4. Would you consider doing a comparison review of the Fast And Free Short, 6 inch vs 10 inch? I'd be interested to see if either of them are petite-friendly.

    1. Sure! Next time I'm at the store, I'll keep an eye out on those.

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
