Upload! April 23rd 2019

Another boring upload. The only thing I'm mildly interested in is the Everyday Skirt. It most likely will be too long and not flattering for us petites. I wonder if my lack of enthusiasm stems from having way too much Lululemon clothes that nothing looks new and exciting anymore? Let me know if you purchased anything and if there's anything you want to see a review of! When there is nothing that interests me at Lululemon I tend to start looking at Athleta, which seems to be happening more and more lately.

(I wonder if this is any way petite friendly? Skirts can be iffy on me. I'm guessing these will end around my shin... probably not flattering.)

(I wish I liked this, but it just looks kind of cheaply made.)

(This reminds me of the On Repeat Bomber, but not as nice.)

(Pretty yellow, but terrible for my skin tone.)

(Is this a repeat?)

(That is very bright!)

(Prefer this pretty pink!)

(Still not liking this color at all.)

(I really like these two colors paired together. Anyone know what the bottom color is?)

  1. I’m liking the easy going hoodie in honey lemon. Not sure if I could pull off the color, but I like the style and texture. I’d like to see a fit review on that. Didn’t they have that skirt before? People were making ‘not nice’ comments until someone did a fit review. It was so cute and then it sold out. I think the person who did the review was petite too. Maybe you can do a fit review on the skirt? Sorry, don’t know what color pants those are ;)

    1. Sure I'll add the Easy Going Hoodie to my cart.I don't think honey lemon will work with me either, so I'll order it in black. Will add the skirt as well!

  2. I have the skirt in green from last season. It is really pretty and does not look too long on me 5'1. The only thing is that the waist was so tight that I had to size up to 6, which was a consistent feedback based on the online reviews. Not sure if they changed the fit this year. Give it a try.

    1. I was reading some of the reviews and almost everyone complained about the waist. I guess I'll also have to size up to a 6, but that is encouraging that the length still worked for you! I have not bought or worn a skirt in ages so we'll see if this one works for me. Will order one tonight.

  3. To me, the pant color of the very bottom photo looks like "Melanite." Every align length seems to have that color.

    1. Thanks! It just looks so much lighter in that photo with the bra.

  4. I was going to say that pant color looks like Melanite to me. Nice saturated color.

A colorful upload but too bad I’m a grey/black/white/purple person lol. I would love to see a review on The Everyday Skirt too. Looks so comfy.

I’ve given up hope on Lulu releasing the Align Crop in Washed Marble Titanium Coal. Even if they release it in a High Waist Wunder Under Crop, I would give it a try. Not a fan of WU in medium or low waist.

    1. I ordered the Everyday Skirt and a couple of other items for review. I agree, doesn't seem like they will release any more items in the washed marble titanium. Bummer!

  5. The skirt looks super cute! I don't wear skirts often though. I wanted it last year when they released it but I don't think I'd get enough use out if it.

  6. Tried my Tts 6 and size up 8 everyday skirt today. The waistband was not tight in the 6. The 8 had more room in the waistband and also had too much material. The length in the front came to my knees. I’m 5’1” , 117 lbs- I would have bought the 6, but it really needed pockets. I also tried the Cut class jacket size 8 in the pinkish color. Loved it. Very comfortable. It is a slim fit jacket so I chose the size up 8. Real nice jacket, well made, zippered pockets.

    1. I ended up ordering the 6 based on the reviews. Maybe they fixed the waist issue since then? My order doesn't arrive until tomorrow. We'll see if it fits or not! But agreed, pockets would have been nice.

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...
