Fit Review! Huddle & Hustle Hoodie

Another weekend finished! Good news, I have a bunch of reviews coming up. I managed to take a lot of photos this weekend. I have to spread them out though. Apparently our August ban was so successful, my husband wants to do another one for the month of October. 😑 I guess I'll be heading to the mall a lot for store try-ons.

Today I have for you a review on the Huddle & Hustle Hoodie in smoky blush. I am a lover of all kinds of pinks and nudes so of course I picked smoky blush. My second favorite color in this hoodie is the heathered speckled jet blue.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches and typically a size 2 in Scuba Hoodies. I purchased a size 2 in the Huddle & Hustle Hoodie as well.

Right off the bat, this hoodie is shorter than the Scuba Hoodie. It hits right above my hips and definitely shows off my bum as you can see in the below picture. Second thing I noticed, the pockets are placed in an awkward spot that hits around the side of your rib cage. I'm definitely not a huge fan of that.

Hi Nero!

The hood itself is on the smaller side, it's not as big and floppy as the Scuba Hoodie. The fabric is made of soft cotton terry. This is a light to mid weight hoodie that would last until mid fall. It would work well for temperatures in the 60s to low 70s.

The cut is slightly on the boxy side but because of the contour seams it helps with the illusion of curves. The sleeves are semi fitted as well and I really like how the cuffs at the wrist do not feel restricted, however the length of the sleeves are long which is expected. The color is spot on to the website for once. It's the perfect shade of pink/nude and I'm very pleased with it. Overall, this is a very nice alternative to the Scuba Hoodie and I'm leaning towards keeping it. What are your thoughts on this hoodie? Yay or nay?

  1. The color is pretty but I don’t like the cut. I find the front seams placed at an awkward position which is not that flattering at all. The fitting on the back looks nicer.

Body length is nice on you but the sleeves are way too long. I would like the hood to be bigger too.

    1. Ok thanks! That actually helps me more. You're right the front isn't very flattering. Back it goes!

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Review! Balenciaga Rodeo Bag Size Small Plus Video

You all know I love my bags, and as a Balenciaga collector, I don't often stray from the City and First style. The Rodeo (pronounced like Rodeo Drive) really caught my eye. It gives off a slouchy Hermes Kelly vibe, but way more practical to use.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall. Balenciaga Rodeo Bag Small The Rodeo can be carried a few ways. It comes with a crossbody strap that is not adjustable but it is removable. Not sure why anyone wouldn't add a few extra holes to make a strap adjustable these days. Come on Balenciaga! Do better! The top handle is a bit too long for this to work anyhow, I feel like the top handle gets in the way. It sticks out and doesn't sit well in my opinion. I wouldn't carry this bag crossbody unless it was an unforeseen emergency and I really needed my hands free. This bag looks more chic carried by the handle or crook of the arm. It also looks nice left open with the help of the flap tucked in. The Rodeo resembles the Kelly bag ...
