Road Trip!



Happy Friday everyone! I'm traveling again this weekend. We are heading to Charlotte, North Carolina to watch a soccer game between Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund. I honestly don't know much about soccer, but last year we went to see Atlanta United play and had such a great time that we want to do it again!

I'll be spending one day each in Charlotte and Greenville.  Are there any readers out there who are familiar with either place? Is there anything you would recommend seeing or doing? We're open to restaurants or anything that's fun! We really miss how walkable New York City and Boston are and don't get to do that much in Atlanta. Hoping we can get in a lot of steps this weekend.

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

  I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. Review! Balenciaga Rodeo Bag Size Small Plus Video

  You all know I love my bags, and as a Balenciaga collector, I don't often stray from the City and First style. The Rodeo (pronounced like Rodeo Drive) really caught my eye. It gives off a slouchy Hermes Kelly vibe, but way more practical to use.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall. Balenciaga Rodeo Bag Small The Rodeo can be carried a few ways. It comes with a crossbody strap that is not adjustable but it is removable. Not sure why anyone wouldn't add a few extra holes to make a strap adjustable these days. Come on Balenciaga! Do better! The top handle is a bit too long for this to work anyhow, I feel like the top handle gets in the way. It sticks out and doesn't sit well in my opinion. I wouldn't carry this bag crossbody unless it was an unforeseen emergency and I really needed my hands free. This bag looks more chic carried by the handle or crook of the arm.   Happy Friday! I can't believe it's almost Halloween! I actually have a dentist appointment on Halloween. One of my molars chipped and needs to be filled in.
