Fit Review! Speed Up Short, Non Stop Bomber, Ready To Rulu Pant, Back In Action Jogger

Hi everyone! Here's a fit review since I didn't post one on Friday. I haven't been buying as much Lululemon lately, but my most recent purchase is the Speed Up short in frozen flourish print. I'm definitely keeping this pair. I love prints and this one is right up my alley. It's a little darker than I expected it to be, but still very pretty.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 and typically a size 4 in tops and bottoms.

I purchased these in my normal size 4. The fit is similar to Speed Shorts. I feel like these are slightly more comfy in the waist.

These are definitely cut a little higher than Speed Shorts, but since I have short legs I find the change to be more flattering on petites. I have not tried these out on a run yet but I'm excited to finally add a pair of these to my collection.

While in New Orleans I did manage to stop by a Lululemon shop! I know I'm late to the game on the Non-Stop Bomber jacket, but after trying it on, I have to say I kinda dig it. The store did not have the dark chrome color that everyone loves but I did get to try on the black. I'm wearing a size 2 and found it to be very comfortable with room to layer. So I would say this is a size down item since I'm normally a size 4 in Define Jackets.

Non-Stop Bomber in black Size 2

This jacket is reversible which makes it kind of cool giving it two different looks. I definitely preferred the bomber side of the jacket. I'm kind of sad the dark chrome is sold out online in my size! Maybe they will restock?

The length of the jacket hits at the hip. The sleeves I did not find to be too long. It does however look a little bulky from the side. It poofs out which isn't the most flattering. It looks the best from the front. I can see this jacket being very warm even though it is light weight.

I've been looking for a pair of joggers for fall and have heard of many great things for Ready To Rulu Pant. While it is super soft, it's definitely too long on petites. The length is 29 inches. My inseam is 26 inches. You can see it's just too wrinkly and baggy around my ankles.

I tried on a size 2 and found it to fit in the waist and hips. I would these are a size down item as well. I didn't find it to be too baggy around the legs, but the length is definitely a deal breaker for me. Price tag is also hefty. $108 it better be flattering!

I also tried on the Back In Action Jogger. The length of these is also 29 inches. When I saw these were made of nulu, I was curious to try them on.

So these are definitely not very flattering but they are very comfortable. They're high waisted kind of like the Aligns, but I did not find these to be flattering. They definitely show all the lumps and bumps around the waist and butt. The fabric is also very thin and can easily see panty lines. These are a definite pass for me.

Totally bloated from all the eating! Oh well...

Hope everyone had a great weekend! I had a very relaxing one. Got myself a mani/pedi and a great haircut.

I'm still searching for that perfect burgundy jacket and found a couple of items I'm interested in from Athleta. I may place an order to try them out.

(Comes in petite!)

(I have this in silver bells too and love it)

That's it for me! Hope everyone has a great Monday!

  1. LOVE the Speed Up short in Frozen Flourish on you! The bomber is super cute too! I was so sad about the Ready to Rulu joggers too... it was so soft, and such great reviews, sadly my short legs made it all bunchy too.

Nice haircut! Glad you had a relaxing weekend too!

    1. Thanks! Well I'll have a review up soon from Athleta Girl joggers that fit perfectly... You may be able to get away with the XL since you're taller than me!

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
