Fit Review Friday! Fast As Light Muscle Tank!

Happy Friday! I'm actually quite sick at the moment, so this will be a short fit review. I seem to have caught a cold somehow. It's summertime, how does this even happen?! I almost never get sick, but since moving to Atlanta this is maybe the 3rd time I've gotten sick. 😩

This is the one purchase I've made so far in August, and I can't decide if I should keep it. I purchased this in my usual size 4 and I think that was the right call.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 and typically a size 4 in Lululemon tops. Occasionally I sometimes size down to a 2.

Fast As Light Muscle Tank Heathered Viola Size 4
also wearing Speed Shorts. (old)

I love the cropped length of this tank and the criss cross back makes this a great running tank. However, for $58 it feels like it's very little material and fabric for the money. It feels like scraps of fabric in your hands. It seriously doesn't feel like a piece of clothing!

Although the length is cropped it does not show any skin on my short torso. I am still fully covered in the front. It seems to be fairly comfortable even with the high neckline. Speaking of the neckline, the hole is really small. I barely got my head through the top. That's another reason I'm hesitant on keeping this. I'm unsure if it would be uncomfortable running. Does anyone have this top? Would love some other feedback on those who decided to keep it.

As of right now, this color is indeed sold out. However it is still available in tiger space dye and heathered black.

That's it for me! I will have a pretty big Athleta review coming up over the next week. I may have to break it up into two posts. Hope everyone has a great weekend! I have a 5 mile run on Saturday. It's my longest run ever... I'm a little scared!

  1. Sorry to hear you're feeling poorly! I hope you recover soon! I love the speed shorts on you! So cute! I am not a fan of the tank, sorry. Way overpriced imho. Have a nice weekend!

  2. I bought this tank in space tiger dye and I'm also on the fence. I think I would've liked it better in solid colors. I'm holding on to it for now as I do know this is a hot commodity!

    1. I'm leaning towards returning it. I would much rather buy another Breeze By Muscle Tank instead.

  3. Woiksss... Ms. CuTEness, please get well soon!!! The top looks good on you, however, I have to admit that price... urmmm... this is among the moments I feel Lululemon really is banking in on the brand's name, because I could get something with this cutting without the name from some local brand and it would be Malaysian Ringgit MYR 20. Imagine that in your currency! Cheap as chips!

    1. Thanks! I'm feeling a little better today. But agreed it's the brand name and definitely not worth the full price. It's being returned.

  4. I was intrigued mostly because of the demand in BST apps, but I'm not a fan at all. I don't understand the hype. Don't get me wrong, it looks great on you. I think it looks better on your small frame than on someone taller as a true crop top. The back it kind of awkward.. I don't think it "falls nicely". My honest opinion- use that money for a pretty color essentials tank or new speeds or something else. This style is not a good "lasting" look that would get lots of wear out of my closet. For that price, it's too trendy and you should absolutely love the style. You're on the fence so you probably already answered your own question anyway.

    1. Totally right. The back does look a little weird. Probably just FOMO that's hyping it even more. It's being returned.

  5. I bought the Fast as Light tank in the navy, heathered black, and tiger space dye - returned all three today.

Wasn't a fan of how cheap the fabric felt and didn't like the way the top looked on me enough to justify spending $58/each...

    1. Totally agree with you. Just feels like a bunch of scraps sewed together in the back... not worth the $$.

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
