USA / Canada Upload! May 2nd 2017

I'm kind of disappointed with tonight's upload. I'm not a fan of green in general so I'm not obsessed with dark forest. I do like the new aerial pattern but I think I would like it on something with a smaller canvas like the Speed Shorts.

In other news, I finally got my semi large order today from Lulu and it looks like I'll be sending everything back. I will take photos this weekend before deciding for sure, but my initial reaction to everything was pretty half hearted. Nothing screamed OMG! MUST HAVE!

Once I get my refund I'll probably put in a large Athleta order. Haha! So, nothing for me tonight. Did you buy anything?

($98! Yikes)

(too bad it's green... I would have liked this in anything else!)

(I have this scarf from last year and bought it for $19 at a warehouse sale, but I am happy they are making more Vinyasa scarves. Now just bring back FTBW bra!!!)

  1. Well shoot, two wks in a row of super big orders. I love earth tones so I've been buying a ton. I got all 3 Cardero tanks, green define, Swiftly tank and Hotty hot shorts. Blue and an older pink CRB, magnum Power Y, blue Fast and Free Bra, black currant Seek the Heat shorts and Free to Flow crop in store. Whew. :'(

    1. Wow! I wish earth tones looked better on me. I've bee told i look better in darker colors like deep purples, deep blues, grays and darker greens. Enjoy all your loot!!

  2. Not even the quicksand define? Good for your wallet! I missed out but I not sure I would have kept it anyway. Fleshy color is tricky for my skintone. Also I have been buying fewer and fewer luon items due to pilling issues.

    1. The quicksand Define is a maybe. I definitely prefer my dusty mauve Define over quicksand. And yes, the pilling on the luon will definitely happen so I am more picky about keeping luon items too. I'll decide for sure after I see some photos over the weekend. Definitely better for my wallet, but it might just all go to Athleta. =)

  3. I hear ya...not a huge fan of green, but the Dark Forest Swiftly does look pretty, but I'd have a harder time matching it to the rest of my clothes. Aww sorry to hear the large order didn't work out - but yay more funds for other clothes! I hope you'll still do a review of the things you ordered. I find that for the price, if I don't love the item right away, I'm better off not buying it b/c that means I won't reach for it once it's in my closet.

    1. Yup I'll still do a review. Exactly, these items cost a pretty penny, so if I'm not in love on the spot, I really shouldn't keep it. I am keeping one item in the dark forest color- the Low Key Tank, I think it'll be a top strictly for hot days in the summer. Although I should probably keep the tags on until I order some of those linen tops from Athleta. haha. Yay for 30 day return period!

  4. I'm returning my pace rivals in blue jam this weekend so I ordered the green scuba 3 to be sent to my parents in Canada 😀 I'm living in my Scuba 3s and have sold all but 2 of my Scuba 2s.

    1. Nice! I never did like Scuba 2s. They never worked for me. I definitely prefer the 3 over Scuba 4. I ordered black currant in Scuba 4 and while the color is nice, it isn't love.

  5. I ordered new hotty hot and speed shorts in aerial drift print. I hope i like them in person too.
I like my quicksand define but still waiting for scuba.

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
