Review- Dior So Real Sunnies!

Happy Memorial Day! The long weekend is coming to a close and I hope for those of you in the US got to spend some time with your loved ones. For all those we served, I thank each and every one of you!

So, I'm somewhat of a sunglass junkie. Even though I wear glasses 95% of the time, on the weekends when I go out, I like to put my contacts in and throw on some shades. These are hands down my favorite pair of sunglasses ever. These are made by Dior, and have been really popular for a couple of years now.

It's hard to find sunglasses that fit my asian face. I say that because my nose is pretty flat and when I smile, the bottom of the sunglasses will almost always hit my cheek bones. It's the worst. These fit my face perfectly with no problems at all. They don't look too big on me, which I have a few that make me look like an alien or bug eyed. Olsen twins anyone? The pair I have are ruthenium/light havana color and all of the different variations are on sale at Nordstrom who is currently doing their semi annual sale! These are super expensive at full price, but for 40% off it's easier to stomach, and so worth it!

Yes, I'm a handbag snob as well!

These are really light weight, and super sturdy. They do not feel flimsy. At 48mm wide I think it's a really good size for almost any face. I also like to flip my sunglasses over my head when I go indoors and these stay put and do not slide off.  I'm really tempted to buy a second pair in pink havana/brown rose mirror. Rose colored lenses really make the world so much nicer to look at.

  1. I have to check out those Dior glasses but I must say that I was spellbound by that boy. It looks like it's made of goatskin. Can I ask which season was that boy from?

    1. Hi Alicia! Yes the Boy bag is my one and only Chanel bag. I purchased her in December 2014. She's either a fall 2014 or Spring 2015 bag, I'm not really sure exactly which season she's from. The color is a pearly metallic dark gray and it is made of calfskin.

    2. This makes perfect sense as I find the Chanel bags in 2014 are really well made. The caviar leather and your calf leather is high quality and looks so good!

    3. I would love a caviar bag some day... just so expensive! So you're saying that the quality of the newer Chanel bags have gone down? That's a shame considering how much they cost...

  2. You look so cute with the whole outfit! I ordered the ruthenium and burgundy and will keep one. You are such an enabler :).

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
