Photos: Blooming Pixie High Times Pant!

I promised I would write a post on my blooming pixie High Times Pant. I apologize for taking a while to get this up on the blog but I always make good on my promises. Hope you enjoy the photos!

For reference I"m 4 feet 11 and typically wear a size 4 in tops and bottoms.

Blooming pixie is one of my all time favorite Lululemon prints. The colors are so vibrant and pretty that it just reminds me of spring. Lately Lululemon is on a black and white kick and honestly I'm not loving the monotone palette. When I'm putting together my outfits, I always like a pop of color. Occasionally I'll put together a neutral outfit if I'm in the mood, but that's pretty rare for me.

I would totally wear this out and about and even to do a workout. I love double duty pieces. I feel like I get more bang for my buck if I can get away with wearing pieces to the gym and also out casually for errands on the weekend.

I'm pretty lucky with the print placement on my High Times Pant. These are not 100% opaque in the bend test. In fact they are pretty see-through. However, I'll wear nude underthings and longer tanks with these if I have to.

The colors that make up the blooming pixie print cover a wide range. There are shades of pinks, purples, hints of blue and black. There are enough colors that you could almost wear anything and it would go with it. My wardrobe has a lot of pinks and purples, it's my favorite shade to wear. If I feel like toning the outfit down a little bit I'll throw on my favorite Define Jacket in dusty mauve.

On the other hand, my teeny tooth deep fuchsia Define Jacket also works well with blooming pixie. What I love about the teeny tooth is the texture. It's a great transitional piece to wear during spring and fall.

My last outfit I'm wearing my super cozy Athleta wrap. I love it so much I also purchased it in black. This is one of those pieces that I can also get away with wearing to work. Total score! I'm also considering getting this wrap in the charcoal and iron blue heather. Ever since I bought this wrap I've been living in it. I can't get over how super soft it is.

I'm thinking I may put together a post on some work outfits where I also incorporate some of my Lululemon and Athleta pieces if there's any interest. Leave me a comment below if that's something you would like to see.

Hope everyone is having a great week so far!

  1. They are super pretty 😊 I would love to see some work outfits with lulu and Athleta! I have to wear suits to work but I often wear lulu or athletha instead of a blouse or plain t.

    1. I'm really glad I don't have to wear a suit everyday. That has to be expensive to dry clean!

  2. They look really cute on you!! Great pattern placement too. I sad to hear about the sheerness though. Wish lululemon would get that figured out... I am short but I have a large buttock with wide hips so anything that is slightly sheer on you will be crazy sheer on me.

    1. Thanks! I really lucked out with the pattern placement. I also ordered them in the WU crops but they were super white on one side of the butt cheek so I sent them back. =T

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
