Fit Review Friday! SENI by Fit Rebel

Fit Rebel is a company that features traditional batik art on their leggings. Each design is hand painted and drawn by artists from Malaysia. When Fit Rebel reached out to me, I was instantly drawn to the Edgy Peacock leggings on their website.

*Disclaimer: These leggings are gifted to me from Fit Rebel in exchange for an honest review.

The intense colors on this beautifully painted peacock are breath taking in real life. I really love the blues, greens and yellows used on this piece. As someone who appreciates and studied the arts in college, I naturally gravitate towards pieces like these. It totally reminds me of this Oscar Wilde quote, "One should either be a work of art, or wear a work of art."

The fabric is super buttery and soft. It sort of reminds me of a softer and more stretchy version of Lululemon's nulux fabric. There is almost no compression to these leggings. I'm wearing a size small. For reference I'm 4 feet 11 and normally wear a size 4 in Lululemon bottoms or size Petite XS in Athleta bottoms. If you're smaller than I am, you may be sized out.

The only one thing I'm not too crazy about is the crotch seam. Normally I would reject a pair of leggings for a contrasting seam at my crotch but the unique artwork and colors over rode this. I made an exception in this case. Plus, if it really bothers me I can always wear a longer tank that can hide the seam.

These sit right beneath my belly button. I would consider them to be on the hi-rise side even though on the website these are labeled regular rise. The wide waist band is very comfortable and I'm happy that it doesn't give me a muffin top. During the bend over test, these passed with flying colors. It would also be difficult to see-through given how colorful these leggings are.

Length wise, they are a little bit too long on me, but I don't think they look too bad since they are only slightly loose at the ankles. Seriously, how awesome is this peacock? I admit, I do love crazy bottoms and usually wear them with a basic top to balance it out. Peacock not your thing? They also have Fighting Fish, Dragonfly and Phoenix are just some of my other favorites from this line.

I've already worn these twice to work out in. I did circuit training for the first workout session and a cardio workout the second time I wore them. They performed beautifully. I did not have to pull them up at any point, nor did the waistband roll down. I found them to be very comfortable to wear. One day when I'm feeling extra happy, I would like to wear these out and about for errands on a weekend.

If you're a Werkshop fan like I am, these may be right up your alley. The best thing about these leggings is how affordable they are. They only cost $44.83 USD! Shipping and exchanges are free worldwide from Malaysia. Ship time can be a couple of weeks.

Hope you all have a great weekend!

    1. Thank you! I can see your point about the crotch/booty but I plan on wearing a longer tank if it does bother me. The peacock is just too gorgeous for me to pass up!

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...
