Store Try On Fit Review Wunder Under Pant Hi-Rise Nulux Flux

Hope everyone had a great weekend! I'm back in Atlanta and tomorrow I start my new job. I'm really excited and also kind of dreading waking up super early again. My hours are 8am - 5pm and I'll probably have to get up around 6:30 or so. I'm really lucky the office is only a 10 minute drive or if I feel like it I can also walk it but that will take me about an hour.

Before I left New York, I managed to stop by a store quickly to try on the new Nulux print in Flux. I absolutely loved it! It's really stunning in person and very vibrant. I actually had some more gift card money to use so I didn't pay full price for it.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches and typically wear a size 4 in bottoms.

I'm wearing my normal size 4 and the Nulux fabric feels like butter. I love it. The rise sits right underneath my belly button.

The colors are super vibrant. My thighs do look a little bit thicker in these, but I think the colors are so intense and gorgeous I don't even care. The pictures here really do not do these tights justice.

I will probably get these hemmed because they are long on me. I have the folded underneath and they're slightly baggy in the ankles even so. I'll wear these mostly likely to the gym and even out casually to do errands. These are not compressive at least to me. I find them super comfortable.

The inside is lined with a mint blue green color and passed the bend over test. The colors faded a little bit in the deep squat but not much at all. These were opaque for me. I'm happy to announce that these are my first Nulux tights!

Last thing I want to mention, I'm going on a ban in February. Every year I do this and I call it Frugal February. If anyone wants to join me, please do! I'm only allowing myself to purchase things that I need and I'm also allowed to spend money on food and books. It's really hard to not shop and sometimes I fail but I really do try my best. I've got two more days before my ban starts!

Hope everyone has a great Monday!

It sounds very hard but I will join you for the ban too. I will allow myself to only shop for survival foods and a gift for Valentine's day.

  3. Yes, I am joining you and Agent Athletica for the February spending ban. I did order the light grey Studio wrap using a $35 reward. After getting the Athleta credit card, it is amazing how fast I get reward :). Anyway, a reset is much needed. Good luck with your new job!

    1. Are there any other benefits to getting an Athleta card? I'm thinking of getting it... Today is the last day to shop! Ban goes into effect in 5 hours. =T eeps!

    2. 20% off coupon on a regular priced item a couple times in the last month but not sure if it is only sent to card holders. I believe early access to sales. There is also a code for expedited shipping, which alone is worth getting the card for IMO.

I just bought the sleet sprinter jacket from the Lulu in Lynnfield for $149 so I am good for now.

    3. The expedited shipping would be nice. Athleta really does take forever to ship things out. I'll think about getting one after my ban is over!

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Review! Balenciaga Rodeo Bag Size Small Plus Video

You all know I love my bags, and as a Balenciaga collector, I don't often stray from the City and First style. The Rodeo (pronounced like Rodeo Drive) really caught my eye. It gives off a slouchy Hermes Kelly vibe, but way more practical to use.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall. Balenciaga Rodeo Bag Small The Rodeo can be carried a few ways. It comes with a crossbody strap that is not adjustable but it is removable. Not sure why anyone wouldn't add a few extra holes to make a strap adjustable these days. Come on Balenciaga! Do better! The top handle is a bit too long for this to work anyhow, I feel like the top handle gets in the way. It sticks out and doesn't sit well in my opinion. I wouldn't carry this bag crossbody unless it was an unforeseen emergency and I really needed my hands free. This bag looks more chic carried by the handle or crook of the arm. It also looks nice left open with the help of the flap tucked in. The Rodeo resembles the Kelly bag ...

Review! Lululemon's Large Everywhere Belt Bag Size Comparison Plus Video!

Happy Friday! I can't believe it's almost Halloween! I actually have a dentist appointment on Halloween. One of my molars chipped and needs to be filled in. It's a tiny chip that I didn't even notice until my dentist pointed it out to me during my last visit. I'm not looking forward to it at all since I will need local anesthesia. Anyway, today I have a belt bag size comparison review for you all! For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear size 4 in Lululemon tops and bottoms.
