Fit Review Friday! First Mile Jacket, Align Crop Alberta Lake + Nike Free RN Distance

Happy Veterans Day to all those who served our country and happy Friday to everyone!  I haven't been able to get to the store this week yet, but this was from last week when I went to the mall quickly.  I ended up ordering the Align Crops when I got home to take advantage of the 8% cash back from Ebates.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 and typically a size 4 in tops and bottoms.  These fit exactly the same as my other two pairs.  I have one in indigo and another in darkest magenta.  I felt the color was definitely different enough to justify owning both indigo and alberta lake.

Alberta lake is definitely a lighter blue with a bit of green mixed into it.  Reminds me of my favorite Crayola crayons when I was a kid, blue-green.  The color is dark enough that panty lines aren't as visible.  That's usually my biggest problem with Align Crops in lighter colors.

I'm still lusting after this jacket.  I tried it on a couple of weeks ago in the size 2, but the size 2 is way too tight across the shoulders and back.  The size 4 is definitely a better fit.  The price is still very off putting, so I didn't buy it.  $228 plus tax is steep for this jacket considering there isn't any down filling.  But it's on my wish list and when it goes on WMTM, I'll get one then.

I decided darkest magenta is definitely the color I want over black, especially since I purchased the Athleta's Down To Town Sweatshirt in black.  I have a review here.

The sleeves are longer and looser than the size 2, but I guess I can live with that.  I always fold up my sleeves anyway.

Last week I ordered these Nike Free RN Distance in white/silver.  These run small so I had to go up half a size to a size 6.  My usual size in Nike is 5.5.

These are on sale right now for $79!  I've already worn them a couple of times and while they look so pretty in white, they do show dirt pretty easily.

This is the first time I've ever owned a pair of white sneakers.  I blame it on Kayla Itsines for making me want a pair.  She is too cute.  She also has legs like a gazelle.  I'm so jealous.

Hope everyone has a fabulous weekend!

    1. I have a pair of Align Pants that I got about a year ago that started to slightly pill. The ones I've bought this year are so far still like new. I do expect the fabric to pill though, just because of how soft it is.

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Review! Balenciaga Rodeo Bag Size Small Plus Video

You all know I love my bags, and as a Balenciaga collector, I don't often stray from the City and First style. The Rodeo (pronounced like Rodeo Drive) really caught my eye. It gives off a slouchy Hermes Kelly vibe, but way more practical to use.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall. Balenciaga Rodeo Bag Small The Rodeo can be carried a few ways. It comes with a crossbody strap that is not adjustable but it is removable. Not sure why anyone wouldn't add a few extra holes to make a strap adjustable these days. Come on Balenciaga! Do better! The top handle is a bit too long for this to work anyhow, I feel like the top handle gets in the way. It sticks out and doesn't sit well in my opinion. I wouldn't carry this bag crossbody unless it was an unforeseen emergency and I really needed my hands free. This bag looks more chic carried by the handle or crook of the arm. It also looks nice left open with the help of the flap tucked in. The Rodeo resembles the Kelly bag ...
