Fit Review Werkshop Geisha Full Length Legging!

The Geisha legging is my favorite from Werkshop's Zen Garden collection.  The artwork on it is beautifully done.  The colors are gorgeous.  So I was super excited to finally get them last week, but as soon as I tried them on I knew they didn't work on petite gals.  This made me really sad because the print is so amazing.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 and usually a size 4 in Lululemon bottoms.

One of the most challenging things about being super petite is finding clothes that does not make us look short.  If something makes my legs look loooooong, it's a keeper.  In the photo above, you can see the face of the Geisha takes up almost half of my leg lengthwise.  And it draws the eye downwards making my leg look short.  There's not much to go after the neckline of her kimono = short legs.  I also think the white band on the lower part of the legging near my shin, doesn't help either.  The next photo highlights this even more so.

This is so unfortunate because I sooooo wanted to keep these.  Fit wise I ordered the size small and they fit exactly like all my other Werkshop leggings.  I do not like my leggings to be compressive and for me these feel about medium weight.  In the next photo you can see the headdress on the left leg go past my knee, which also contributes to making my legs look short.

The back is gorgeous and I wish these worked for me.  If you're of average height or even just a few inches taller than me, they may work.  These also come in crop length but I don't think that would help much.  I did however just get another pair in Onyx that make my legs look looooong and those are a definite keeper.  I'll have a review up of those as soon as I take some photos.

And as always, I like to mention that if you're new to Werkshop you can receive $10 off your first purchase with my referral link.

    1. I'm actually exchanging the Geisha for Crane haha! So hopefully that will arrive sometime next week too. Lucky you! I'm always good to give Lulu a few hundred every month. It's such an expensive habit lol.

  4. I absolutely love it! The zip around wallet is the best thing I've purchased in a long time. I took a few photos and would like to write a little something up. I was trying to figure out the best way to write it up and how to send them to you.

    1. I would like to do a little review. I did not know what I wanted so I ordered 4 of the nocturnal collection wallets to compare the zip around wallet, zipper keyholder, cardholder and card organizer. I believe it is about 8 photos and would be a couple sentences for each photo. Just don't know what format works best to transfer onto the blog. Want to make it easy.

    2. WOW! that's awesome. I would definitely love to see photos and a review. If you don't want to make it public you can always send me an email with the photos and description. petiteimpact@gmail.com of if you want to you can set up your own blog! Up to you. Let me know! Or a guest review? =D

    3. I don't mind you posting the review. I just need to know how to format it to you? Do you want an email or word document?

    4. Email would probably be easier? You can also send me more than one email if you need to if there are a lot of photos to make it simpler. Thanks!!

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
