Athleta Wish List!

It's already October and fall is in full swing in the northeast already.  While it's not quite as chilly yet down in the south, I'm still looking at fall pieces to add to my wardrobe.  Here's my top 10 from Athleta.  If you're new to Atleta, use my referral link to receive $15 off your $100 purchase.

I'm super curious about this, it's like a sweatshirt and down jacket with a hoodie.  The back looks more like a regular hoodie, while the front almost looks like a down vest layered over a sweatshirt.  It's kind of an interesting mix.  This comes in two colors, gray and black.

I don't know why, but I'm already drawn to purple tights.  These look super pretty and the perfect medium dark purple color.  The best thing is they also come in petite sizes!  Hooray!

If you're obsessed with wine colored bags like I am, this tote definitely caught my eye.  I can't decide however if I prefer the wine berry color or the gray color to keep things simple.

I've never owned a suede jacket before but this one looks simple yet classic.  I especially love how the model is wearing it with a simple white button up shirt.  She's also wearing a pair of white sneakers.  I really need to get a pair already.

This jacket looks like a great piece for cold weather running.  I can see myself actually wearing this on a hiking trail.

This outfit just looks super cute, sometimes an all black outfit just works.  The tights are herringbone and I'm curious to try and see how they compare to Lululemon's herringbone WU I have from last year.

This vest is super cute on the model, but I have a feeling it isn't very petite friendly.  This also comes in a moss green color.

The nice thing about Athleta is a lot of their bottoms come in petite sizing.  I'm eyeing these two tights for winter temperatures.  I have some rewards I've been saving up from my Banana Republic Visa card.  I think I'll order a pair of the Colorblock tights to try on.  They remind me a little bit of Alala's Captain Crop tights.

If anyone has tried on any of my top ten picks, let me know your thoughts!  Do any of these items appeal to you?

  1. I have crops that I bought in the late summer that are the same colour as the Chatarunga to Town tight, my only complaint with these is that the colour itself shows SO much sweat. Other than that they are INCREDIBLY soft and hold up really well.

    1. Oh really. Good to know! I just love that purple color. I guess if I got those it would be more of casual wear and not for working out. Thanks for the heads up!

  2. I love Quest Chats! Just got the navy ones in petite and they are lush! They have a bit of a sheen to them so will also be good for casual wear 😊

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...
