Review - Radiant Jacket!

Now that I've worn the Radiant Jacket a few times I'd like to give a proper review of it.  I like that it is longer and covers most of my bum, it is pretty warm and is a nice change from wearing my Scuba Hoodies constantly.  It is nicely fitted and I bought my usual size 2 in outerwear.  My only complaint about the jacket are the pockets.  They are perfect for keeping my hands warm and toasty, but definitely do not put your phone in there.  I made that mistake and the phone fell out.  Not once but twice!  The pockets are too shallow.  One other small complaint is when I'm sitting, the band at the bottom of the jacket tends to flip up.  It doesn't really bother me too much, but it is noticeable.  Overall, definitely a cute jacket and I'll be wearing it a lot in this 50s Boston winter weather!

Side note, I ran into Lululemon today just to see if there was anything new.  I didn't have a lot of time to try anything on but they had the new Scuba Hoodie I ordered and should arrive tomorrow.   Hopefully I'll have some pics of it on soon.  One thing to note, they are not as soft as some of the heathered colors.  Just a warning!  They a bit stiff.

New Scuba Hoodie in Star Pixel Raspberry!  Look at how pretty it is!  Mine!

Also Athleta is having a pretty good sale right now so I ordered the Down With It Jacket in XXS.  The fit is overall okay.  It's only semi fitted.  The arms are pretty loose on me so if I wanted to wear a Define Jacket underneath it would fit with no problems.  I like the color and for $69, why not keep it?  (I used a lot of Rewards and had a 20% off coupon.)  Sorry for the craptastic photos but I hope to have better lighting when I move out of this apartment!

  1. I also love the radiant jacket although I now wish I had stuck with my usual size. I must have been bloated when I tried it on, and now it's pretty much sold out everywhere. thanks for your reviews and pics.

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
